Fanpet for the game Glitch rebuilt as OddGiants, based on the continent of Mazza'la. Most of the information is my interpretation from playing the game.
This is my home street in Mazza'la, where my house(left) and shop(right) are, along with my butler Mister B.

Introduction
Introduction
The environment in Mazza'la is dark and swampy. The term Firebog could come from the swarms of fireflies that inhabit the bogs or for the fires that burn on the tip of the buildings. Although there are not many trees, the bogs contain a variety of resources unique to them, including peat bogs, firefly swarms, jellisac growths and mortar barnacles.

Regions
Regions

In Mazza'la there are four regions: Chakra Phool, Jethimadh, Kalavana and Shimla Mirch. The regions for the most part are very similar, but there are some differences.

Chakra Phool has a cave system towards the center of it, the Inari Deeps.

Jethimadh has a tall tower at its center, the Jethimadh Tower entrance.

Kalavana has steep cliffs and is more open and barren.

Shimla Mirch has many ponds due to it being on the coast, one of the only places where the sky isn't green.

Climate
Climate
The climate is rather hot and muggy. The summers can reach well into the lower 100s with the humidity to match. There are frequent thunder storms which add more moisture to the air and lock it in until the clouds pass. The winters are cooler, the lowest dropping to the low 40s, it never reaches freezing . They too are humid with frequent rain and stronger winds.

Appearance
Appearance
The Firebog is a very unique looking place, from its green skies to buildings. The skies appear green due to the humidity reflecting the colors of the peat bogs and jellisac growths. The ground is usually slightly muddy with odd plants and grasses spurting out. The buildings are the most unique thing about the firebogs. They look like they are resting on top of legs instead of a normal foundation. Some have branches coming out of the top which some have decorations hanging on them, others may have fire on the tips. In underground areas there can be bridges spanning between buildings. Some building even have faces carved in the back or side. Some areas have buildings that are half sunken into the mud from too much rain softening the ground.

Resources
Resources
There are four natural resources that are unique to Mazza'la. Firefly swarms, peat bogs, jellisac clumps and mortar barnacles. Fireflies can be found all through out the four regions. They appear as glowing yellow lights and usually hide. You need a jar to catch them, though they have few uses. Fireflies can be used for making crystals, lighting carved pumpkins and as decoration.
Peat bogs are also found through out all four regions. Peat forms in little holes in the ground and is full when there's a mound on top. They are mossy and green when ready for digging. Peat is used for making bricks, fuel cells and for different construction projects.
Jellisac growths are found everywhere except Kalavana. It looks like a bunch of round grapes in different shades of green. They can be found growing on moist dirt walls. It's used for making fuel cells and construction projects.
Mortar Barnacles are only found in Shimla Mirch growing on the sides of the buildings. They are disc shaped and are beige colored. After being scraped off of buildings they are ground up into a fine powder. The powder is then used for making bricks and wall segments.

Furniture
Furniture
Besides the natural resources and landscape Mazza'la is famous for its furniture. There are forty pieces in the Firebog furniture line ranging from seating, tables and decor. Almost all of the furniture is wooden except for a few pieces. All of the lighting is powered by jarred fireflies. The furniture captures the essence of the firebog.
