That hover effect scared me really bad. Still an awesome pet though.
I really hate most of the pet spotlights. Unoriginal stories, mediocre layouts.. But this one just pops! I adore it completely. Its beautiful in its simplicity, and stands on its own. <3

The story and concept sort of reminds me of the movie Monsters INC. I have never seen this pet before, so I went and clicked. Automatically I started to hover over the image and did so about 20 times before reading the story. Well thought out character I'd say. Creepy little girls with creepy little beast friends FTW!

That is the best use of the hide-until-hover CSS I have ever seen on this site, hands down. Awesome story, too.
