SubetaTeam has put up thousands of 1sP auctions! Good luck finding and bidding on items that you want ;)!

@Vonnie Because some people are under the mistaken impression that 1 sP auctions also means bidding in 1 sP increments. However, it doesn't; all it means is starting at 1 sP, much like penny eBay auctions. Some people can't sit at their computers all day, so they just plug their highest bids in at the start. And some of us have desperately wanted all but unobtainable items, so we'll happily put in even 5 million or 10 million to get them.
The real problem isn't actually someone putting in a 1 million sP bid, it's that Subeta auctions, unlike eBay and most other on-line auctions, don't allow for proxy bidding. i.e. When someone puts in that 1 million sP bid, it immediately takes precedence and shows. What Subeta really needs is proxy incremental bidding, in which the bids would go up in increments of say... 10K for the higher end items, until the bidder's highest bid is eventually attained. But I believe that Keith might have said at one point that it was too complicated to program the auctions in this manner.

I've tried and tried but getting nowhere fast.

I suck at these :(
There's only 1 item I really want but I always get outbid in the last 2 seconds and it takes my computer at least 4 seconds to get the bid in :/

Haven't managed to grab anything yet; due to the fact of people being able to bid after the auction...and it is getting frustrating xD

Ah, I managed to get 7 items this morning all for just a few sp - nothing really spectacular as those items were going for quite a lot, but I don't mind at all, it was fun to bid AND I had a lizard event in the midst of it. Thanks Subeta for a fun event. :)

Getting outbid a minute after auctions are over is really frustrating. 8l I wasted a lot of time refreshing and bidding like crazy and in the end I never even had a chance. Thanks a lot.

Why do some people outbid someone with al large amount of Sp?? Sometimes I see the last bid is (for example) 504 SP, someone outbids this person with 1.000.000 Sp. I know the item is worth much more but it does not seem fair when someone makes a bid they are immediately outbidded (is that a word? XD) by the person who made the 1000K bid.

Yeaahh you should consider looking into fixing the auctions, so people cannot bid AFTER it closes. (: Just saying.

Like others here I'll stay clear of the this event as I totally suck at auctions on Subeta. But, for those who have trouble seeing all the auctions? Just press the "List" link and go through the pages. At this moment there are lots of SubetaTeam auctions that are ending every second.
Good luck to everyone who manages to get wishlist items and especially if you manage to get stuff you've wanted for a long time. This luck is NOT extended to those who just bid on anything just to turn around and sell it to make profit.

The reason to have these actions is a lil like guess ur price and see if u can get it for that. I also like it because...i don't think many mention this but..the prices of some items might lower in mp. I am happy to see that some have:) If there is a glitch..i hope it gets fixedP:

Just as a point, what some people are saying simply isn't really true. I just saw a 5 million sP+ item go for 119K, and an almost 500K item go for 10K. However, I do wish that the glitch or whatever it is that allows certain users/computers to bid well after the auction has ended had been addressed and corrected before starting a slew of new auctions. I personally had definitely had a winning bid, had slowly refreshed the page FOUR separate times to be sure, had had the sP taken and not returned. Then, over thirty seconds later, the sP suddenly came back and no item! (Not a small item, either, an over 10 million sP item, when the last bid immediately prior had been only 6 million) This was an issue in the pass that I had thought had been said had been fixed, or I wouldn't have bothered bidding. I'm sure it probably happened on some of the others that I had bid on as well, I just hadn't sat and checked them like I had this item, that I had wanted for quite some time now.

I fail to see the point in 1 sp auctions. I finally find an item I've been wanting for ages (Cadogite), and I decide to snipe it in the last second for 50,000 despite the last bid being closer to 2,000... and someone had outbid me with 70,000.
So really, it's still just a case of the rich getting richer.

Remember, once you place a bid on something it opens up all the other pages- 36 or so now-so you can see what else to bid on. Too bad the prices are shooting up so fast...

Too bad the auctions can't be tweaked so that you can ONLY bid in increments of 1 sP...that might make the prices a little bit slower to increase.

Odd, I can only find 30 items listed for seller SubetaTeam, the same 30 every time I search or refresh. They're only selling 30 at a time? I must be doing something wrong then. Darn.

I see my sentiments are similar to what others have spoken... I never really understood 1-point auctions much on any site except to bring attention to the seller (i.e. advertising). By the time all is said and done anything remotely valuable is usually met with or exceeded the regular sell price of the item anyway.
That and I gave up on auctions a while ago... getting bought out with 1 or 2 seconds to spare (aka 'sniping') by people with much faster Internet connections than I... and having zero time to respond kind of makes one not even bother.
I'll avoid this little event myself, but hopefully some of you will get some nice stuff out of this though. Good luck to you all.

bidding 'prematurely' wouldn't always shoot the price up so high... if people understood how to add 1sp to the last bid... <_<

What is the point of the 1sp auctions as they all end up as normal user shop price anyway.
I might as well buy them from the shops rather than wasting time at the auctions.

Anybody know how to get to the "thousands" of auctions? Every time I go to the link posted and search SubetaTeam user all I get is the same 1 page of auctions. Are they auctioning off thousands of items 20 at a time or something? Strange.

Love this! Though to stop pretty much the same people getting stuff like last year they should introduce some kind of limit. 5 auctions won per hour or something, still lots to make profit off, but not clog them all up xD

Not sure I understand how this works. I went to the auction link and did a search for SubetaTeam user and only 1 page came up most of them 10-20 hours before ending. Where are the "thousands", I don't see how to get to them. Hmm.
