Firefox Update!
Hot on the heels of the IE9 update, Mozilla Firefox has updated to Version 4.
This is a major update, and is suggested for all firefox users. I personally suggest updating because it makes having lots of tabs open go way faster, and also has far more support for advanced HTML5 and CSS3 options which we would like to use in the future to make Subeta awesome.

For the people who don't like the tabs on top (like me :D) Just right click the toolbar and uncheck "tabs on top"

It'll take some getting use to but I'll manage. ^_^ The add on Status-4-Evar fixes the weird pop-up link issues. A lot of other things can be changed under options.
I use chrome, but after the latest work on the site...browsing on Subeta is slower than ever :(
I miss the "save and quit" option from FF 3. If anyone knows how to get that, comment me please.
I still use Firefox and I still like it --thanks for the news about the update for it. I tried Chrome but it didnt work well with some of my other favorite sites I use frequently. Thanks very much Keith for letting us know about this.
Hmm, the only thing I don't like is the little bar at the bottom that displays the address when you hover/click on a link D: It pops up into the window and distracts me.
Ugh, I hate this new Firefox for one reason only, my scroll on my touch pad doesn't work anymore. It works on everything but Firefox. It's really hard to live without it. =[

did anyone else have to disable hardware acceleration? the text was all smudged and harder to read.
Does anyone know if all the bookmarks/settings/saved passwords/etc. will transfer over from FF v.3 to FF v.4?
I'm actually loving the upgrade. I already know I'll be abusing the app tab function.
Only one out of all my add-ons didn't make it through, but that one is solely for laziness reasons. XD

I think I'll wait to update. This way hopefully by the time firefox keeps pestering me to update all my ad-ons should work with it and any of the kinks that showed up should be worked out.

Got it! I like the tabs as they are all smooth and sleek. And I kept the skin I was using! :D
i love the new firefox, it's much better, easier to use, faster, and i like how i can have more tab's open, and it does not slow down as much. and it's much faster overall.

I love it :D I've been rocking all the betas and Release Candidates, but I am SO GLAD that they finally released it so that hopefully the people who work with my add-ons will update them :D

Well it doesnt make for easy buying in the shops at all.. you cant just tab into the shop price to buy somerthing.. takes about 8 tabs in until you get to the shop pricing window

Thanks for the info, but I still prefer Chome ;) It's much faster and considering I have to use 3GS on my laptop the downloading speed difference really is visible ;)
Eh, don't like the new update. It looks too much like chrome for my tastes, and having tabs on top isn't really my thing. Keeping 3, for now.

Not making the switch until it's necessary. Hopefully they'll let us know when we absolutely NEED to switch for subeta to work properly. I don't usually have issues with tabs loading and shit, so really don't see the point.
well my tabs WERE on top b4, now though there is no little click spot to open another tab....have to go to file..:(...but will check out the speed etc soon.
You can change the location of the tabs by right clicking in an empty space next to them and unchecking 'Tabs on top'.
It will take some getting used to, but I like it. I will like it even better when Colorful Tabs is compatible with it though.:)

It's super different, but I kind of like it. It's definitely going faster for me. It'll take a little getting used to, but I think I'm going to be glad I updated. :)
/shrug. I love it, it looks much sleeker and it makes my webpage bigger because it eliminates a lot of the useless space in the top bar, and I'm all about making things look prettier aha. Thanks for the reminder! Now to wait for my other add-ons to catch up to 4.0! I miss Stylish xD

Doesn't sound like a lot of people like the update. I'm always hesitant on updates of any kind because in my experience they usually mess things up on my computer, so I don't update unless necessary.
takes way too much of my stuff away went back to the previous version. Have to have my norton toolbar and it will not work with the new version
Chrome and IE still both load faster than FireFox for me. My computer at home just can't start Firefox in a timely manner, and it's just not impressive enough to make me want to wait for it to hog down my system resources.
The tabs on top, which will take some getting use to, but otherwise it looks organized. Yay :3
updated! kinda peeved that a lot of my addons aren't compatible with it. but.. it is faster, so i'll cope. :K mind you it was already fast for me.

And it was really easy to move them, whoot! Still seem to be missing something at the top, but I'm sure I'll get used to it :)

Keith! How could you do this too me, the firefox had no colorful tabs ;-; how will i ever beat the wizard again...and they got rid of the best bookmark add on ever too :P
