Server Update
Alright, that did not go according to plan! We had some hardware issues (with our load balancer) that caused us to not be able to complete the move in the amount of time that we\'d have liked. If we\'d continued it was likely the site would be down until noon, or later!
Instead we have brought the site back up on our existing servers, and will continue to work on the new ones until we can attempt a transfer again.

Honestly, I don't mind if it goes down for a bit as long as it's for a good reason. Which this is. Don't think so little of us - we won't abandon the ship just because there's a rat in the cargo room.

owwww, well sometimes can fail the plains hehehe, but well...better its taking time to do it, and dont go on faster with a wrong end, better step by step. Thanks for the info Keith! i just thinked still on move(i just enter to subeta, i mean login lol) w.e, i sure goes to be ready soon...with patience :)

No worries Keith, we know the first rule of computing: anything that can fail will fail. And if you're running a Windows platform, it'll fail quicker and in a much grander scale! We love you guys and thank you for the massive amount of anguish you went through to do this for us to play and frolic (yes I used that word) on a shiny new server of awesomeness!

Agree with what others are saying - I wouldn't mind the site being down for a day if it meant that Vesnali and future events would go more smoothly.

Yeah, I definitely remember when the site was down more often than it was up. We survived. A few hours downtime now, especially for improvement of the site instead of just random crashes, won't kill us. :P But thanks for keeping us updated!

I agree with the others in that if subeta has to be down for a whole day or longer, for the greater good of the site, then so be it. Heck, I was here back in the day when the site was down almost as much, if not more, than it was up and I'm still here, as are a bunch of others. It's all good. :D

Awww... Well I for one wouldn't have minded. Better it be down for a day and be done with it than you have to put it off but that's so wonderful that you did this. Now there won't be as many suffering withdrawals, lol! Hope you get it to go smoothly next go round.

Eh, I agree, you could have just kept going.. then you know.. gave us a nice shiny item for all the effort we had to put in... to not wind up drooling on ourselves in boredum. *nudge nudge nudge*Lol :P Hopefully it'll all get sorted soon... I'm excited for the next big event to see how smoothly it all runs.

I think you should just let Subeta be down for awhile and get it over with instead of dragging it on forever.
It's not like the users will die off without Subeta for a day.

@Aleluja I think what @Keith was saying is that they are going to upload it gradually so a bit at a time instead of the whole site at once if I am wrong someone can correct me but that is how I took it.
