Server Work!





We will be taking Subeta offline tonight (technically, Wednesday) at 1AM subeta time. We are taking it down to do a few things:



* Add another layer to our backup operation, which will enable us to quickly recover from any sort of hardware failure in our database.

* Move to a more stable and better supported fork of MySQL.



What we have to do to make this change is export the entire database and send it to our secondary server, as well as reimport it on the main server. Since they\'re all on the same network (or machine) this should be a fairly quick process.



We don\'t have an ETA on how long the site will be down, but it shouldn\'t be more than a few hours.
