@Mandee, I understand where you're coming from, but at the same time, Harry Potter has a very large fanbase. It's something many people enjoy, this is a silly, cute twist to something many love. Ravenclaw ever so eloquently advertises this pet in her forumset (or use to) so it's gathered quite a fanbase itself. This is why this particular pet gets more attention, I wouldn't expect any less. Just my take on the post count. :3

also @Whytekatt, not to be argumentative, but the staff have said time and time again those are just guidelines, plenty of pets without a minion, or a story, or even a treasure chest have won the pet spotlight. There's no bias, those are literally just guidelines, not rules :)
I think the pet is wonderful, a deserved win. That being said, the number of comments on the one pet kinda saddens me, because there have been other marvelous winners with no where near the number of comments/congratulations. :/
