Great idea (saves me from making a Notepad file this year!), but please tell me this isn't replacing stockings...I WANNA STUFF STOCKINGS GOSH DARN IT. ;)
is a good idea but how to use??... i put the name of friend in list and than? ... where i put the name of the gift i will send to this friend??... amount too... 10 list's... how many friends i can put on one list?... can't translate all, it confused me...:)... think we really need a place where we can put our notes, not public, just privat... or back to paper and pen...:)

Ummm . . . . perfection.
I made a list of stuff to get my friends in Word, and wouldn't my luck have it, someone deleted it. This is a great way to have all of your friends needs on one little page on subeta. Thank you!

I love this. I put my friends on my luminaire list and after buying their gifts, I listed their gifts in the note section that is available. Great way to remind myself what I bought for each friend to give to them.
Lol darn. I wish this would have come out earlier in the day. I spent three hours this morning doing just this. xD
Oh, I see how it works. I was hoping each list would be like "Friend name" and then you could put items you bought or needed to buy for them
I honestly will never use this. I have a physical, IRL list, and then I add everything to a separate category in my WL to make my life easier while browsing the Advertising threads. I have no idea what this can be used for. I'm not going to make a third list for no reason.
Some ideas for you guys that don't see any uses... these are what I've been using it for so far.
I have a friends list as well (obviously) but I'm still even using it for them for keeping track of who I've bought/sent gifts for on my friends list... as I can't put a check mark by their name there.... and there are too many to all buy for at once.. due to hating shopping and not having billions of sP to throw at them all at once. :P The notes section I've just been using to keep track of who spent what.. because I HATE spending less than someone else. :P So mine have like "1.5 mill" "400K" etc. etc. written so I can make sure I -at least- get them back for what they've given me.
Using them to keep track of cult gifts (as some of the cult members aren't on my list).
Using them to also keep track of anon gift bombs... because after about 20-25 items sent out... I totally lose track of who I've sent something out to and who I haven't.
Either way, so far playing around today I lurv them.. and I can't find a way that they would be public???

If I'm buying people things for christmas, it's likely I'll buy them Bday Presents too.

It's a good idea, but wouldn't your lists be public like your own Wishlists? It kinda defeats the element of surprise if it does :S
OK, I was totally confused, but I think I get it now. This is simply to keep track of 'who' I am buying for, right? Not the items for each person. So I can have a birthday list and the people I need to buy birthday presents for, and a Christmas list, and those people, etc... Sorry, guess I'm a little slow on the uptake tonight (or I guess I was trying to make it more than it is).
I thought I could put the items I wanna buy on the List. Like "Friend1- Item 1- you dont have this item; item 2- you have this item;; Friend2... etc" Only a namelist? I have a friendlist. Shouldn't be only friends on the list? And I always give something to everybody.

I wish I could buy and pack the items and give it to Santa to bring it to my friends at x-mas. I always have so much gifts that I used the socks the last years. I'm not Santa... XD I can't send 100 gifts at x-mas.

Gaaaah! There is a limit to the length of the note, so I just lost half of my list of purchases before I noticed. Luckily I didn't trust the feature to work flawlessly yet (sorry subetateam) and used paper and pen as well.
This is not going to work for me if I can't keep track of everything I buy for each person.

I'm so glad this isn't the stocking replacement, and with that said neat feature you guys! I'm sure I will get a lot of use out of this for a lot of reasons ^^

READ the posts people. Keith said it WASN'T the replacement for stockings.
On another note, I'm not sure this will work for me as I send multiple gifts, so will still have to use notepad to keep track. What I'm NOT liking is that item names have disappeared from WLs. :( I use them to copy and paste to account search and this will make checking much harder. :(

So this is nice, but it would be better if I could keep track of which items I bought for a friend. I have one really close friend I totally bomb with stuff from her wishlist, and it would be nice to check off which items I got her as I went along. :)

Perfect for keeping track of Luminaire gifts! This will be very helpful even after the holiday though.
Looks like the majority like the change. I'm with dkchoclvr. I loved stuffing stockings in addition to giving regular gifts. Thanks for keeping new features coming. You guys put in a lot of great effort. :) This one is just not for me.
Speaking of stockings and what-not.. is this the "surprise" thing that was being worked on in place of them?
Oh wait, I thought this was like the stockings, haha! So it's just to keep track, but you still have to send gifts manually, not like you can make a list to have it open like the stockings for your friends on christmas then?
This is nice in theory (for me at least) but I won't use it. Favorite or not, I gift everyone on my friend list and would REALLY love to go stocking stalking/bombing sigh
Ohhhh The lists are a permanent thing. I thought the 10 was per person not each event to give things out for. I really need to read description more. Kewl!

I love this! Last year, I just Favorited the people I needed to gift and Favorited them when I got their gift.

Well, you really only need 10 lists. For example right now I've got two lists.
Luminaire - Where I've put all the friends that I need to buy items for luminaire for people.
Birthdays - Friends who I'll get things for their birthdays.
I don't know how people could use 10 lists so quickly!

Oo, I like this. I want to give gifts to at least a few people, so I'll probably get some use out of this.
