I agree with Seff ... so many comments regarding the smug smile, I am surprised it was not edited back into the design.
NO! ugh. I'm sorry but I did NOT want this revamp to happen probably more than any other pet. Now don't get me wrong I still love the artwork, It's very beautiful and all but it seems like the fester here just lost all the personality it had before. and I'm probably alone on this but to me the old one looked more like something like this punk vulture kid that you never really got but talked to anyway, whereas the new one looks something more like it came out of twilight. :
I adore the art on this one, but don't like the attitude of the species now. Before it seemed smugly-happy, but now it seems like an apathetic badass U nU
fashionably late to comment, but never too late to show support. wonderful art/revamp! i might look into getting a fester in the future :3
All I ask is that we please get Festers in all colors and all colors get revamped. I love Festers unconditionally. They stole my heart the first time Pete sold me some Sun Fester Elixirs.
I never cared about the fester before, but this revamp is SPECTACULAR. I can't wait to see a glacier fester.
This is seriously an amazing revamp, anyone who is talking badly about it seriously needs help. There is nothing wrong with this beautiful update. The old one was so outdated and cartoonish, but this.... damn. Details, colouring, shape, everything is just right.
I like them, but I'm scared for the Spectrum Fester.. That's actually the reason I've joined the site.
Hm, much better than the wip one we saw earlier. I reeeeally hope Subeta won't change the graveyard one tho, that's the one I have and it's just perfect already.
That dusk fester is absolutely gorgeous. I don't have any idea for one, but wow, I love those blue shades.

I love the new look! Now it matches with the style of the other pets better. I think the old look was more neo style than subeta >< I would actually consider getting one now ;D

Ugh. I know I am in the minority but this is a depressing revamp. I just don't care for it's new look. Sure the art is amazing but it lost any personality it ever had and now it's just a flat, boring lifeless picture. At least the other one seemed alive! The only good thing is that the Revamped Scribble Fester wasn't completely ruined by the new look. He looks like some animu scene-emo kid but he has attitude! I might change my w00t back into a Scribble Fester after all...
Finally! Seriously, this is one of the most amazing revamps ever made! I really love it; so full of character and all. Well done, Subeta!
Gotta say that I'm firmly disappointed with the change, honestly. :/ The lineart/colors may be update but it no longer has any character. Shame.
i love the changes that were made! it looks great! still a little disappointed that it lost it's 'cool/badass' feel and, to me, looks a little more like a grumpy old man... but the art looks great! (but please keep the bloodred one similar to its old look lol /sob)
I love both my redone babies. I cannot wait to see to all my Festers changed over. I have one Kerubi and 11 Festers.
Very nice! Many subtle things came together to make this great. Sad the grey color didn't make it to the end, though. Oh well, guess it probably upset too many people.

Love the work done on the new Fester and I'm glad you listened to everyone about the common colors. Not too sure about the other colors though... That patch of color under the eye is really bold on some of them [Sun and Dusk mostly] and the old special colors look like two different species.
Still, I will adjust. I just hope you don't take 20 years to revamp them all. XD

Brilliant. I really liked the proposed revamp as it was, and yet somehow the artist has improved it x10. I love the way the wings have been redone, the extra details on the tail and the improved shading on the belly. Dusk, arid and twilight look particularly good.

I don't get why everyone says the old one's expression was more "badass", though.. I certainly wouldn't use that word to describe it at all, (I'd personally use "cocky") but each to their own. xD
Thank you so much for taking in everyone's feedback! Those wings look FANTASTIC NOW! The texture change on the chest is really nice. I don't know how you subeta artists manage to shade so nicely with cell shading.

A great improvement! I am excited to see what the other colors look like when updated to this look.
I have to admit, with the original fester i was never tempted to get one, i found the colours to bright but the updated one is lovely, i love the wings and the tuft, i may just have to either wait for a new pet slt or change one i already have, i'll wait for the other colours to update first.

This looks absolutely lovely :D The wings look so, so much better and I just ADORE how the feather texturing was done, it looks really phenomenal! They really look... you know, feather-like? xD; idk. just very good!

Oh my gosh, this is so absolutely wonderful. I was very pleased to see the original redesign, and I apologise if any of my critique was maybe a little harsh-- that was not my intention at all-- but this has been so beautifully improved! The wings were really the number one problem, and now they are completely satisfying. The Fester has honestly just become my favourite pet; thank you so much for continuing to make Subeta's art better! I know not everyone can be pleased, but I really, really prefer the new look to the old. Keep up the great work!
What a fantaaaaaaastic revamp. That species needed an entire overhaul, seriously. Though some people liked it, I rarely ever saw any on the site that weren't Reborn or Graveyard, and it really only appealed to a tiny niche group with its appearance... And while that might be nice for them, species need to be able to be liked by lots of people! I ADORE this revamp entirely :)
The coloring is gorgeous. But without the smirk and the full mohawk, it just isn't a Fester to me.

I love this new Fester and I am hell disappointed that I don't have any more pet slots, but I'm actually considering turning one of my pets into one. The Fester is so badass now!

I'm glad to see the color change to brown.. although the other color was GORGEOUS.. it was just too gorgeous for a common color and fits the more twilight look better, like has been done and tweaked.
Also.. in an odd comment, his belly feathers look gorgeous.. I want to tickle them.

Please don't update the Reborn, Galactic, or Spectrum Fester this way! They don't need it, and I like the old Festers better! :( These new Festers look too, I dunno, 'real' looking, as well as some of the other new pets like the Jollin, Xotl, and updated Irion and Serpenth (no offense to owners ^^). I like the old Fester better because of their signature green mohawks and their smile that still made them look cool, while the new Festers just look like really grumpy, unimaginative hawk pets (once again, no offence!). I just think that they need more to them, like color. I generally like the bright colored, cartoon-like pets bests, but that's just me. ^^

I preferred the outstretched wing in the original revamp (To my eye it looks more fluid and natural.), but I still really love the new Fester. I'll probably end up getting one of these for my 14th pet.
I love the feather-structure everywhere, it's looking really good!

I love the updated version so much better than the poll version! I do slightly miss the old punky Fester, but I can see how the new Fester has mass appeal. Bravo, Hagane! Thanks for hearing out the users and creating a beautiful final product <3

O: Noooo waaay. And I thought it couldn't get any better! This is fantastic. I never used to like Festers, but now... holy crap, I'm going to want a ton of them, I think. Very, very nice!
The art is much better, and I like the colour scheme more for most of them (especially Gold), but I much prefer the old one's pose and expression. The old one looked all smug and badass, the new one just looks sad or angry
Eh, still not really a fan (maybe it's the eyes? I don't know?) but I'm happy that other people are happy.

I really don't care for this design, but I don't have one anyway, so my opinion doesn't matter.
Not that keen on the Dusk colours being that bright personally but, that aside, they're amazing :D Love the Gold one

As for the Fester it was almost obvious that the new design qualifies to be whole new species, it doesn't look really much like a vulture, lost it's mohawk and now longer possess the fun loving nature, the only thing still connectable of the new and old look's probably just being a bird... The new design took away what make fester, Fester. Sorry if it sounded like a complaint, this wasn't meant to be one, just my 2 cents.
