Bumbus Queen
Keep your eyes open for a new random event from Queen Bea that will let you morph your existing pets into bumbii!
NOTE: To clear up some confusion, this random event will not randomly turn any of your pets into a bumbus. You will be summoned to perform a quest for Queen Bea and upon completion, she will transform a pet of your choice into a bumbus. If the bumbus is available in the color of the pet you have transformed, your pet will retain that color. If not, it will be turned into a common bumbus.

I seriously think that you guys should change the "bumbii" to "bumbus" on the Blue Building page, because I had no idea what a bumbii were and thought "bumbii" were the name of the Bumbus Queen species.
I wish we could turn our pet into a bumbus queen, she's adorable, if I want a bumbus I can just adopt one, getting a random event to get the queen would be so great!

I chose the option to turn one of my pets into a Bumbus in the hopes that I can soon update it to a more Royal version...
I believe the people of Subeta should make Royalty Potions now. That way we can actually have beautiful pets like the lovely queen bumbus. ;) I am just saying. It would work out very well.
MaleficentI just got the RE and you can choose the pet and it's just a basic Bumbus. Which is pointless since you have the ability to adopt one anyways..unless you want to change a pet you already have to one which is all it is good for.
Got a quest first item : 4.5MILLION sp.. had to quit! Hope if I get again the items are less..

PLEASE be optional. XD I don't want a bumbus. Ever. None of my pets -needs- to be a bee-like thing. Especially not a big fluffy pink thing. XD (Not that I think they would be turned into the queen bumbus- but still). NO LIKE-Y. But a cool event none-the-less.
You will only get a common bumbus if you complete the quest. I just got a quest, but I'm going to decline it.

i really hoped we could turn our pet into this..then i can skip this random event as i already have a fat bee....maybe i could get an overlay looking similar to the QueenB

Thank god it seems it's optional!! If you went down Neos road and randomly turned my pretties into a BEE, I would probably leave. (No offence to Bee lovers and the like^_^)

Oh wait, nvm. Apparently you have to be part of the BB in order to get this event. I'm already in there, but I thought it was a chance for non-BB people to have a Bumbus. Whoops!

Would have been nice to know in the news that RE was for the BB people only AND that you only get a normal Bumbii,which to me is pointless and very deceiving.I had released one of my pets for this RE and now she is gone for ever.Didn't know you had to be a member of BB and you do not get the Queen pictured.

I had to take a few deep breaths to keep from freaking out. I sooo want a Bumbus but haven't been able to get into the BB just yet. She's beautiful.
so if you get the re, and you do the quest, you don' t actually end up with one that looks like her, you end up with a regular bumbus?

It is only for Blue Building people. When you get the RE she summons you to the Blue Building. You have to have access to it to complete the quest.
Whew, thank goodness it isn't automatic. Awesome design, but it wouldn't fit my pets or tastes.
@SnappleGirl As has been mentioned several times this will NOT automatically change your pet. You have to have BB access first, she will pop up and ASK if you want to change a pet and which one. You can tell her 'NO THANKS' or say yes and then she has you do like a little mini quest.
So basically a random event would just turn our pets into a whole different color at any given time no matter which pet it is, or just the one you use as active? Kind of don't like this since if it happens to one of my pets, I'd have to start over to gain their old color back (especially Dover's, I only have got him the way he is because of spending some real life money to gain a bit of sP).
This makes me wish there was a royal color or something like it on subeta. ;__; This is just so pretty! :heart:

uuuhh.. me no likey This totally screws with the pet profile contest. You have a certain pet and a profile to go with it - the pet changes to a bumbus, you're screwed!

FOR EVERYONE WORRYING ABOUT PETS BEING CHANGED AUTOMATICALLY IT HAS ALREADY BEEN SAID MULTIPLE TIMES HERE AND ON THE FORUM THAT WILL NOT HAPPEN! You have to do things for her before she will change your pet. Subeta wouldn't do that to you.

Oh and yeah, this sounds to me much more like Neopets' "fountain faerie quest" -- except in this case Bumbii will be the only choice, maybe with special colors available like the queen :3

I think some of you are missing the part of /will let you/ I don't think it's a RE like neopets unless someone can tell me other wise.

I don't think this is very random at all. People have been asking for a way to change a pet they already have into a Bumbus for a very long time, I think this is in response to that and I've personally always seen the Bumbas as a Vesnali type of pet so the timing is perfect.

I love the artwork on this Queen Bee! Gorgeous! I too would like more clarification on the random event, does it happen to active pets? Is it an option to change your pet or does the pet turn into a bumbus without a choice? When changed, is it a common bumbus color, or into the look of the Bumbus Queen?
