Now I want to go to the SC website and order some petit fours and dobosh tortes, lol.

They are simply tiny little cakes that are (usually) intricately decorated. Usually denser cakes (such as the ever-amazing almond butter cake) as it makes cutting them smaller far easier. They are also rather expensive because, well, they are a pain to do.
Petit four stands/shops/etc usually also includes small bonbons, truffles, some candies, and some breads. It mostly boils down to "something that can be eaten within a couple bites."
