Cash Shop: New Billing!
Today is a big day for the cash shop, not only are there loads of amazing new (discounted!) items to fill up any collectors wishlist but we are adding another way to buy cash shop credits!
You can now check out the payments page to purchase cash shop credits directly with a credit card. As you can see, we\'ve been upgrading our servers to handle the secure protocol (hence the https!) for just this reason.
Make sure to check out the subscriptions page, where you can get a discount on purchasing a gold account and CSC monthly!
Note: Even if you add a credit card to your account, we do not store that information in our database. All transactions are processed by stripe. It just makes it easier to purchase from Subeta in the future!

Keith, give us back the choice to use paypal or not. :| I'm not filling out any new forms when I have paypal.
Thanks Keith for this alternative to Paypal. I got burned by Paypal twice this year and I want to avoid using them at all costs.
For people asking about CSC (I'm in the same boat), there's a board over in Problems & Bugs.
I purchased my CSC with the intent of covering my Black Friday (weekend?) purchases, so I really hope it shows up some time today.

I just ordered CSC through Stripe. I am still waiting to get my CSC. How long will this take? I got stuff to buy! LOL :)
I used the new system last night as well and still have not been credited. My CC shows the transaction was placed. Filled out a ticket :)
No CSC for me, either. But my bank account DOESN'T show the transaction I made yesterday, so I have no idea what's going on.
On second thought, considering Subeta staff are all on U.S. soil, different time zones can mean that not everyone is awake and logged in ready investigate the issue yet.
Same for me (9 hrs 30 min and counting) and from the looks of it, for a quite a few other Subetans as well.
I bought yesterday and checked my bank today. It's gone through as a transaction but I still don't have the csc showing up on here.
What do we do if the csc do not show up on our account? I bought some last night between 9pm and 10pm, and here it is 6:42am and still no csc :/

It's been about 7 hours for me, too. I know it's still new and probably backed up, but maybe just some sort of confirmation that it's on the way or something...
Just an idea - you might want to make a 'Quarterly' option for the CSC. That would be something I would probably do occasionally if I had a little extra cash - treat myself to a few months of continual CSC :D

Anyone know roughly how long it takes to process? It's been a little over half an hour for me, just wondering if that's normal.
Okay starting to wonder if this csc will ever show up - ordered right after the announcement ($50x2) and i can see the hold on the funds in my account, but no csc.:( It's been close to 6 hours, how should I wait to file a ticket, does anyone know?

Obviously I'm not staff, but I thought the Black Friday sale on Subeta usually lasted through the weekend...?
I think the subscription idea is pretty awesome. :) I'm sure it'll be of great use to a lot of people.
I am also curious about the time it takes to have your card accepted and the fact that it might be after midnight when the sale ends b4 that happens.
I posted a thread in P&B but I got this when I tried to buy 5000 CSC via none subscription through Stripe. I'm rushing or nagging I just wasn't sure if any staff had seen the thread, since Black Friday has limited days in it. XD

But I personally would feel better if there was some thing saying idk...something like 'You have x-amount of csc pending'

I wonder is this affecting paypal because i have not received my credits I purchased through paypal.
Was about to buy a subscription and continue my splurging mood, buuuuuuut, I noticed...that it's actually more expensive to get the annual gold account subscription than to buy a 12-month GA medal? Is there a reason for that?

I might try it next time I purchase with my bank card then to give it a go. I'll probably wait til its been around for a bit, I'm antsy to try new things, especially this time of year lol

Yes, we're going to continue to support paypal, obviously it's the biggest payment processor in the world. We will just try to move people to other payment processors that mean we get more of the $ that the users spend on the site (best for both parties, imo)

Paypal has poor support (and speaking honestly, we get a better rate from stripe than we do paypal) for a lot of countries, and typically its' much better to get the exchange rate through the bank than through paypal (which is what happens when you use a CC through stripe).
This seems really cool! I am much more comfortable using paypal myself when I buy with real cash or UGC when I get my boyfriend or family to buy me gifts haha but I think this will be nice for folks who aren't fans of paypal or don't have UGCs in their area. The more payment methods we have on here, the more people that potentially can get CSC :) Bravo Subeta :)

@raPUNzel (and other curious people?): for example I personally don't use paypal because it has terrible support for my country and you get absolutely horrible excange rates and problems with banks. And they don't sell UGCs around here. Mobile payments get taxed %40.

I think this will work for a lot of people. For any who are conflicted about using this, I have been using the same type of service for my granddaughter's Stardolls account for a long time and have never had any problems.
I don't understand how people have credit cards but don't sign up for paypal. Unless it has something to do with the type of card. Nice to have the option though.

@Lauren We're using https (which is what google / etc uses when you give them CC information) and we aren't actually handling any of the information. We're given a hash on our end (a random group of numbers and letters) that we can send to stripe (which is a payment processor used by a lot of people) to process a payment. We don't actually keep any of your information (address or anything!) on our servers, or have access to it.
