Fairy Medical Center Now Open!
Melody again! Thank you for helping me out by bringing fairies to my cottage. Unfortunately, examining the fairies only confirmed my suspicions - something is terribly wrong. These fairies seem to be very sick, and are losing magic at a startling rate! With all this raw magic floating around, it\'s no wonder things are going crazy- poor Vanya\'s toys must be absorbing more than their normal share, and are coming to life unexpectedly.
We\'ll have to do our best to get these fairies in tip-top shape if we want things to get back to normal. Nurse Margo has set up a field medical station here in a tent. Please bring any fairies you find straight to her for treatment, as well as any medical supplies that you can spare; The fate of Lumineve may depend on it!

I agree with @pandemonium. I don't mind not knowing what prizes will cost point wise, it's just like the RS wars in that regard, but I like knowing how many points I have. I also like to know what equals what. For example, I assume beating the Very Hard opponent will equal more points than the Hard opponent, but by how many points? That's be nice to know, what each thing is worth.
Oh GOODY more secret tiers like the poorly handled centropolis prize tiers. Fuck no I will not spend my time battling for unknown reasons when I can only beat 2 of the challengers, nor should I feel penalized for not spending my life and csc autotraining. Restocking ? Good luck. As noted below that's becoming more and more difficult as people look for an "easy" way to get items who can't/won't battle or turn in fairies. Buy them from shops ? When there's no way to know what I need for goals, why ? People aren't going to want to spend for the same reason, "it better be worth it".
I'm glad there's a plot, I guess, but on Christmas and in order to do well we have to spend hours on subeta..... yeah. Not really amused. Also not really happening as per the Christmas Eve here involves pork chops and giving my nieces presents which is > subeta.

I'm so excited about this! :D I can't afford the prices that these things are going for, or the prices the bandages have jumped up to... but I'm hoping that the casts and hot water bottles will also be added so that we have a few more options for RSing.
I can't wait to see what our points will equal! I managed to get ten wins on each of the first two. The last two are stronger than my pet has hope of being for another year or so. But it was fun trying. :)

And about the people complaining that the fairies are scarce this year
I mean, man, even I understood it already that it is part of the plot.

How often do the medical supplies restock? I've been sitting in the Home Appliances shop for a while now, refreshing constantly, not moving from the shop...it's restocked a bunch of times and I've not seen a trace of a medical supply lol
I haven't had time to read ALL the comments on here, so I apologize if someone has already answered this. But is there a place where we can see all the items we can turn in for this event? I had some wearable bandages in my wardrobe and also a couple of bunny bandages in my vault and she just accepted both, so it's not just the new medicines :) I'd just like to know if there is maybe anything else I already have that I could turn in.
To those complaining about needing 1k fairies for the achievement and layout... that was available last year if not even earlier than that. So you could have gotten it then. Having fairies locked for (technically a past) achievement is being unreasonable. Instead of being grateful for getting something new and something similar to a plot this year, you're really going to complain about a past achievement? o_o It's Christmas for crying out loud. |D /shrugs
I haven't even beaten the doll yet, I have no chance of beating the other two. ;_;

I think it's freaking awesome to have an event like this as I have always loved going beyond the 10 wins per challenger so getting rewarded for that is a super bonus, even if I absolutely hate the rewards this will definitely be a huge success in my book. This and the cruise have definitely restored my faith in subeta plot writers after such a shitty zombie plot earlier this year =)
Im happy :P I dont use fairys otherwise and had been selling them. So now I have something to look forward to using them on.
I think it's impossible to rs medicines, it would be nicer to have had them may be in the crystal shop or the millionar center or whatever else to buy them easily, this way only very fast fingers or us people can manage to buy them as in the night os Subeta people are few and the restocks too :(
I wish handing the fairies (I'm so used to spelling it faeries. I love the old way of spelling it XD) to the medic would be the same as handing them in to Melody - all at once. It's a pain having to do it one-by-one.
Can we please have some way of viewing our total points thus far? Seriously, I have a threshold amount of points I like to get on each plot and I'd love to know my total point count.
To those saying they wish they were getting more fairy events ... I'm 90% sure I remember reading that those types of random events actually become rarer the longer period of time you're online on Subeta. Correct me if I'm wrong on this, but if I recall, it was to prevent people from using auto-refreshers to get more events. So if you wanted more events, technically you would have to go off of Subeta for a bit and then come back.

with no old medical things to donate...looks like faeries is all can give...buying new items from shops be almost impossible...but glad to see different things going on although i was working for the fairy achievement it can wait
Also with the pumpkins, there were wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy more available. Over 100 different kinds to choose from to give to Fantine, here we have only 6 different fairies.
The difference between fairies and pumpkins is that pumpkins are not rarely occurring random events. They're easily obtained floating items.
Now things are taking shape, glad it's not just fighting. I'll try fighting to earn points though. I just wish the faries would appear more so I'd have more fairies to turn in. I keep releasing the ones I obtain for the achievement instead....now I wish I hadn't XD There is always next year, I guess. Yeah, those of us who were still after the achievement and site layout are not too happy this year, but...hey, plots are always good, right?
I just wish the fairies weren't so scarce, I've been releasing them all before the event- now I'm turning them in but it doesn't make much difference considering even after 10+ minutes of straight vending I haven't found a single one on any page. Good thing I've started to battle I guess. Not to put a damper on the holiday though- I MUCH prefer this plot over turning them in for the layout and I'm glad we have so many different ways to get points even with fairies so scarce.
I dont understand all the hate, Im thankful to have choices and options for what I want to participate in. Not everyone wants that layout and get overloaded with fairies anyway. Why not give the faeries another use so the users who dont have to get all the layouts can get books/stickers/wearables for all the faeries that their site activity brings their way? Seems silly to complain that a game isnt catering to your wishes. This is a time to celebrate and think about others. Thank you Subeta for thinking about everyone and giving us a choice.
The layout will be available next year, the plot is only available this year. Seems obvious which one I'm putting my faeries towards.

Does battling and defeating the Two-Headed Dysfunctional Teddy Bear and Susie count as earning points toward the prizes?
Do we still get points for continuing to battle past 10 wins or should we switch to a new pet and start the count all over again? Thanks!
Are the fairies getting rarer? Haven't gotten a single one in the last half an hour or so. I battled over 70 times and stalked the donation center so it was a constant page refresh (and thank you for fixing the lag!!). Not amused.
@Deanosaur I wouldn't mind it at all if it wasn't for the fact that the faeries are only obtainable for one month out of the entire year. Puruing this plot will effectively lock us out of working on the achievement for almost an entire year.

Too all the people complaining about this and the achievement. The fairys are like a (FREE) currency. You buy the layout for 1000 of them, or you buy the prizes from this mini-plot. You wouldn't be saying 'Gee, way to go making us choose between spending out wizard tokens in the Token Shop, or Vending Machines, or Pet Zappers', so suck it up, make the choice for which you want more (or get enough fairies for both). It's not like you have a time limit on the layout.
Lag from hell..no fairies to be found and now we have to stop turning them in for the 1000 Ach.. restock items are near impossible, even without the lag going on, and you think its smart to run a plot 2 days before Christmas?? Smart move..
It doesn't help that the site goes down every other time I try to do something X.x

I won't even be able to get my 10 wins in for every pet - haven't yet with the first challengers - work and Christmas -and won't be successful with the new ones - no time to wait through this incredible lag and site downs. 10 - 20 minutes for a battle?
How do we know how many fairies we've turned in though? o_O Kind of sucks if we just have to estimate...
Sadly, fairies have been few and far between for me this year so haven't been able to give much for this. Oh well.

So, if I'm understanding correctly...1000 faries for an achievement/layout OR x amount of fairies to gain prizes. Why couldn't turning fairies in be one in the same?? Would that have been so difficult to do? I don't think it's fair at all having one side of the population lose out on prizes that may only be released during this event, should they want the achievement (and vice versa).
We have to RS these items? I am struggling with lag and with so many users online I am a little iffy about being able to grab anything...

I should be happy, since I don't particularly want the layout and have some ~600 or so faeries hoarded, buuut... with the site lagging like an absolute nightmare, I'm really not sure I have enough time left in this year to hand more than a fraction of them over to the medics one at a time. :(

I don't see the big deal with the fairies/layout and turning them in.
During Morostide pumpkins could be deleted for a layout or turned into Fantine for achievements, seems like the same thing no?

I wish there was a check in all fairies option for this one. With the site being so slow it might become tedious.

Grateful for the clarification, but still bummed that we have to turn in Snow Fairies for this, especially when it seems they're a lot rarer this year. Margo is adorable though!
Ah, good to know battling helps even after the first 10! I won't have many items to turn in, but at least I can battle the easy, medium and hard enemies.
Ugh should have donated more fairies to Melody if it counts as part of the points you get which affects the prizes you get in the end :(
