i think maybe some of you people need to get outside more
I might be more excited/willing to do these quests (outside of the weekend also) if it were a get-one-item only kind of quest. Like Pete or Maleria...
I've had good and bad experiences doing Quentin's quests, so it's just luck of the draw. I got a couple valuable items last time that just barely covered my losses, but then the prices deflated and I ended up losing money.

First item I got was Haunted Pomegranate Juice. :) Quentin is sometimes worth it. Just have to be patient.
@Ineffable - Sometimes, but not always. For example, two items i got today, Blood Balls (really common) and Pink Skully Earrings (normal), already sold for 24,999sP and 42,274sP, respectively. Judging from the amount of complaints, i doubt if "quite a few people" are even DOING this quest, let alone getting enough of all these items to deflate them much. I mean, this is the third time in four weeks Quentin has been the WSQ, right? And look how valuable those things still are. 25k is a lot for a "really common" item! It's true that Quentin's "special" items have deflated a lot, but that was bound to happen as time went on anyway. They were only super valuable at first because they were new.
Lol, i didn't expect to be defending this particular quest because i'm still not a fan of the way it was revamped, but from my experience today, i'm just saying it actually was a lot more worthwhile than i expected.

Most of the items that are worth anything when you get them quickly lose value, as quite a few people doing the weekend quests get them as well. One would think that, with all of the complaining that's been going on regarding Quentin as the weekend quest, he would be put on the back burner for a while.
Yeah, i thought this sucked as a WSQ too but i went ahead and did them because i still need the achievements...and this really isn't as bad as it seems. A lot of the "common" items given out have a disproportionately high value now, especially the old Graveyard Shop books, of which i got several. That alone would would have made these worth it, but i also got a Soul Stone worth almost 8 mil. Really not too shabby for Quentin - or any weekend quest, for that matter!
Oh well, there's a few things going on this weekend around here, now with events over and a less-than-favorable wq I don't have to worry about spending much time on the site LOL
Didn't staff say last year that there would be new special prizes for Quentin's quests soon? was looking forward to that :/
Oh, Quentin again. How useful... a few good prizes and everyone has a ton of them already. Totally worthwhile?
At least if he give us good rewards, this weekend quest would worth... waits patiently for a Wiz/Saggi special weekend quest

Eh, hey, it gives me a chance to restock my shop. Don't have to worry about everything flying out so fast.
I activated a week-long GA yesterday and I was literally hoping for anyone but Quentin when I refreshed the page just now... Bad luck, I guess. sigh
Hmm, there seems to be a lot of Quentin taking up the weekend quests lately. I think I'll sit this weekend out.
