Steamwork Cadogre and Hipottu
Let\'s play a game of word association. What do you think of when I say, "tall, dark, steely, hard, smooth"-- no, no, no! It\'s not that kind of party. [sigh] It\'s tough being this attractive...
I just wanted to tell you that we have schematics available for two new steamwork pets at Purveyors of Plans: the cadogre and hipottu. But, uh, what are you doing later this evening? ;)

The first time I dont like much the steamwork pets.
Something missing.. they got pretty boring in their creative look over the rest of SW pets. They both pretty detailed and quality work but somehow feels flat and boring... to me at least. Of course it not means they are bad just this time not brings out from me that "whoa" feel -

I thought the Cadorge was a Telenine.... sort off. Doesn't look much like a Cadogre to me but forget that, i love it how it is. xD
Maybe i think about getting one, should be my first cadogre thing ever, just because it doesn't look much like it ;p

But, it's missing a lot of its spines. Like on its tail and the fins on the side of its head...Not to mention the ones on it back are...less then desired..

The artwork is lovely, but that cadogre just looks off somehow. I can't put my finger on it, I mean it must be hard to make a robotic pet even more robotic but it just looks plain and I don't think it looks very cadogre like at all.
The hipottu looks nice too.

I have to say I'm pretty disappointed with the Cadogre...they're one if my favorite pets, and this one doesn't look like a Cadogre at all. Cadogres have slimmer limbs and more rounded shapes. This one looks too chubby and squared :(

The more I look at the Cad, the more I like it (even if it does look slightly plain, shading-wise). The hipottu gives me the opposite impression - the colouring is nice and detailed, but it just does not appeal to me.
In either case, nice job artists! (:

You know, I've been sitting here, waiting for the tigrean... then the paralix comes out and I like that too. Now the Cadogre... *sigh* Please come out with the Tigrean soon before I blow my mind thinking about what ELSE I may want that I haven't the slots for...
