Hey! I\'ve got a game coming up and need help in my shop to find my missing lucky die! Do you think you could help me out?

just went through all the shops again(not like I haven't already by about a dozen times) and no new messages outside of the initial one about the dice. shrug guess this is a miss on mine and many others parts.
The lags in the system make it seem like you aren't getting a response. I didn't get any info from Manwar but found the book in my inventory. I thought there would be a choice. Here is the Message from Keith - "@People who are stuck: Check the next page to see if you just moved along in the process. It goes manwar->toy box->stick it to the man->book nook->bits and bytes->get mugged->manwar" - keep checking your inventory to see if items are missing or if you have the dice I guess. I hope the lagging system improves soon....blechhh

Is there a way to make the NPCs change the item they ask for? French Vanilla Ground Coffee is way too scarce :(
This was a fun little hunt! It was nice break from the games.
If the items is too expensive, try your hand at restocking. Trust me, it really isn't that bad!
When you search your items, and if it's in stock in the shop, you will get a link to that shop. That really comes in handy.

Can you not buy the item you need to turn in?
I bought the Baobao Plushie because it wasn't coming up in the shop, but now I can't turn it in. Do you have to restock it for it to work?

I just want to know if it's being looked into why some people can't do this..I've done everything countless times(refreshed, hard refreshed, cleared cache, checked for incognito mode, revisited from news link, manwars shop, toy box, etc) and nothing has worked.. I want the achievement..I've already been gifted the book by a friend because I haven't been able to do this.
Could someone please tell me if we get to keep the die at the end? Otherwise I'm going to have to be forced to choose between the die and the book prize when what I'd really love is both.
Is there a vending machine that stocks items from Get mugged? I'm not going to pay 500k for a Cinnamon Cappuccino.
I can't see the Tobias dialogue.. I have refreshed a ton of times, tried with different browsers and tried all the shops Keith listed below :/

That fluttering sound you might have heard was me solemnly casting 2 million sP into the wind. Ordinarily I would have just stalked the shop search waiting for a restock, but I'll be busy the rest of the week and might not have internet at all.

Damn I accidentally took the dice back to him but i wanted it for Chet's trasure chest cries in a corner
My most spendy item was 2.3k 8D I thought everyone got the same items to look for...but I guess not. I just had to get different gemstone coffe cups and one zig zag. Super easy peasy.
So we get the dice, take it back and that's it, right? Get the achievement, the prize and I'm done with the quest, right? I'm stupid and I don't want to miss something @User not found: _@

Thank you for giving us something else to do! And I had problems with getting the second dialogue to start but I went back to Manwar and it worked - for anyone wondering!
Tobias isn't prompting me with the item he wants at all, it's fun to do these event quests, but when they don't work right it really sucks. It also sucks that the items asked for got super over priced really quick
Well I'm an unlucky user who got an item that is currently 5 mil, so not gonna finish this I suspect.

I guess I'm the unlucky loser who had to spend 200K to finish. Effing raspberry tea. I guess the book is worth it.
Just follow the fetch quest prompts, click the link to talk to the other NPC, and nab the item they want by "shop search".

Whoa. I think I lucked out - I found everything for 2k in the main shops and only had to go to the user shops for one - which was 4k. Reading about the inflations made me so scared that I almost didn't even want to try starting the quest!
people are lovely :3 got help with the expensive item and went to bits and bytes but it auto refreshed now i dont know where to go?
I don't even HAVE 5 million sp to spend for a Chocolate Chip Coffee Cake. I hope these prices don't stay so high...

There doesn't seem to be enough of these items going around. I'm still looking for a French Vanilla Ground Coffee. :/ Too bad we can't vend these.
I'm sorry, I'm really too busy to talk. People have been in and out like crazy, looking for the latest game guide or comic book... and they're leaving books everywhere! It's finally working, apparently I had to get out of Chrome's incognito mode before I was able to see the dialogue. Huh.
I suppose I lucked out, judging from these comments. My most expensive item was 14,000 sP.
(Funny thing is I used to restock like mad from Get Mugged, I might have been able to make a nice profit if I just waited for a month more than when I last priced those items... xD)

I'm calling shenanigans on this French Vanilla Ground Coffee actually being of Normal rarity.

Tip: vend. Most things can be vended somewhere or another, SubetaLodge has a good guide to vending. Only took a few minutes to get the Twilight Coffee Pot that I needed.
I'm selling all the Get Mugged items I had in my vault for the lowest shop search price. I also have 4 Cappuccino Marshmallows that I'll sell or trade at a bargain.
Wow, that was a lot easier than I thought. I didn't spend more than 16K on any item and found them all quickly. First thing I've gotten easily for this event so far since I don't have time to play 100 games a day. Lucky people on summer vacation break.

Finished! Quite annoyed that I had to spend 900k on one item as I only saw it stock once and I missed it! But I have probably earned more than that playing the games in the event, so not a complete loss.

Uh? I'm confused. Do I actually have to PURCHASE the items I'm looking for, or do I just spam refresh until the NPCs talk to me and give me the things I'm looking for?

Alright, I got it. Big thanks to the user who helped me out. :D Other than losing what I was suppose to be doing and for some reason having to get the bits and bytes guy the same item twice before I could move on, that was fun. :)

Fruity Citrus Smoothie is only sold by one user shop for over 4 million? Not restocking at Get Mugged either...these items shouldn't be high rarity/huge uptick in user shop prices.
I got off lucky, everything they wanted was less than 50K. Also, MAZES AND MARHARS!! Love that game, hope they're bringing it back!

Increased the pool of items they'll ask for. Just a note though, these are all pretty low rarity items that restock pretty frequently. Maybe try your hand at snatching one or two up!

Thanks to the person who priced the Cinnamon Coffee Beans at a lower price of 150,000sP, so I didn't have to pay the next price up of 4,999,999sP to get the achievement. :/

FWIW: I have NoScript and I had to give permission to some of the stuff that was getting blocked before I got the quest to work properly.

I don't get this one. I followed the link to Manwar's shop & he sent me to Tobias Toy Shop. I did not know what to do there but when I went back to read it again, no comments are there. Nothing happens in either shop now. ?????
Did click on the NPC's they took the teas but I didn't get the achievement nor did I get anything.
Um, I went through all the quests and got the die, but when I went back to Manwar, nothing shows up like there wasn't a quest at all!! D:

I hope this isn't the only little "quest" event thing for Epicon. This was pretty awesome! Also, it explains why Keith bought some vanilla coffee beans from my shop. XD
That was a lot of fun, and actually kinda made me excited to see what we get as tonight's game (and not just because of what game I'm really hoping for). A little intro quest to the next daily game is a great idea to spice things up!

You don't have to restock anything. You can't get the die anywhere, so you have to go to other people to give them items. You don't have to restock those items either - just go to the shop search and get what they want.
