You might notice a few backgrounds around the site have also been updated.

Yes I know seas are dark during storms but the problem is the background is being drowned out by the white of the site, making it even darker than it actually is. They just need to brighten it a little and it'll be fine. :/

I don't think the Jar of Dirt is dark at all... ? I mean, not even slightly. Just darker than before, in which case NO SHIT ? Have you people never been to the beach during a storm ? Ever see a storm at all ? It's not bright. It's not sunny. It's dark. It's even more dark where there's fewer light sources (as in lamps and the like... as in THE OCEAN).

Love the pile of leaves revamp, but I do have to say the jar of dirt bg looks way too dark. :c
Awww, I was hoping the Downtown one would have been revamped into a more serious setting. I mean, it looks better but it why are the buildings all wonky? Is my avatar drunk or is it a parody of something? If it is, could someone please tell me because god those topsy turvy buildings always bugged me.

Okay, I can see why you'd revamp it but I'm not sure why you'd do it in that art style and with such a muted pallet. It's autumn, the colors are supposed to be awesome. You don't even need to do much, just add some bright orange and gold highlights and it'll be better. Oh and the art style bugs me because it doesn't really look like leaves, more like... orange jello or something. It's an improvement, for sure, it just needs some detailing imo.
Not sure how I feel about the JoD revamp. It looks okay but it's so dark now and the water doesn't look as good as it did in the previous version.
I am glad that we no longer hold the jar of dirt tho.
I'm really happy about the fireworks revamp although, I kind of wish the bottom fireworks were just exploding ones instead of the streaming kind because now it seriously looks like I'm just floating there. I just had to snag a pile of autumn leaves. The artwork is perfect. Glad I got my early when I did because the price just keeps going up and up!

haha, I still hate the guide to downtown (because of the style not the art). But I'm so happy for the jar of dirt. :3
I'm really glad that these ones which hadn't fit into the square HA have been revamped, as a lot of them like the piles of sand are rather hard to use. (with the exception of jar of dirt. Oh scudding clouds and implausible blue sea and weird jar in hand, you will be missed)
I just put the Pile of Autumn Leaves on earlier today and did a double take when I came back on just now. :p
