Hello, friend. Tell me, have you ever traveled the vast Saherimos?
Picturesque as the rolling dunes and endless azure skies are, the unwary traveler may fall victim to any of many ends. The unlucky may stumble upon a sand spirit with a malevolent deal to be made, and others may become the victims of desert raiders; though they search for relics of the old empire, they may trade their shovels for swords if your pockets look rich enough.
It is true that savage beasts and venomous snakes lurk in the sand, but through it all, the true danger is the sand itself. The shifting dunes and dizzying sandstorms mean that even the most seasoned explorer may find themselves hopelessly lost, each glimmer of an oasis on the horizon vanishing in a shimmer of heat before it can be reached. The noktoa, the elegant birds of prey you met just today, rely on these tricks of the sands to remain unseen, both by men and by the wyllops that are their food.
How then, can an explorer be sure to survive? Why, with a guide of course, and I can think of no better guide than the neela. These beasts, once thought to be the stuff of legends, have a keen sense of direction and cannot be fooled by a mirage, and it just so happens that today we meet for the first time (but certainly not the last) - you, a prospective buyer, and myself, a humble breeder of neela and nothing more.
What is your life worth? Surely not less than the price for one of these majestic beasts. And for creating your first neela OR purchasing your first neela elixir from the cash shop, I will grant you this entire selection of special items:

This argument that it's "only $2.50 that's not that much" is ridiculous too, that's exactly what they want you to say, 'oh it's not that much' then you factor in all the other "it's not that much" instances it WILL add up. Why does everyone think this site is depriiiiived of money, look at how many cw's are out there, and remember, before the cw revamp, those cost at least $50/set, subeta is literally rolling in a TON of money, hundreds of thousands of dollars in CW's ALONE, so please pull your heads out of your you-know-whats and THINK. It's the boiling frog analogy: if a frog is placed in boiling water, it will jump out, but if it is placed in cold water that is slowly heated, it will not perceive the danger and will be cooked to death.
I adore this pet, and I really have no complaints whatsoever about it being in the cash shop. I saw this in my tumblr feed and logged in for the first time in months to adopt one. Created one last night, and I'm excited to do more with it! :)

I think everyone is entitled to how they feel about this pet being a csc-based pet. (I frankly don't mind seeing as though its very beautiful, I'm not too drawn by it.) I don't think anyone should be bashed for how they feel. Some like that its csc-based and others aren't, that's no reason to go around insulting each other. That's just what I personally think (:.

FINALLY a cash shop species. I have been asking for this for a long time. When I get my next loyalty box I will be making one of these if I haven't decided on a current pet for the transformation prior. C: Such beauty.

I think some of you are forgetting that anything in the cash shop can be bought with real points too, right? I believe a 250 credit card goes for about 8 or 9 mil? That's not much at all honestly, I think it's very fair.

It's gorgeous! I'm actually a little happy about the idea of introducing CS pets. It may seem a little odd, but as another user said, it gives users an opportunity to own a slightly more "special" pet, without breaking the bank. In my mind, it's not out of reach of anyone who wants one, and while you may grumble about the cost, it's certainly not an unachievable "status" item.
It's $2.50 if you don't know how to obtain csc by orher means. $2.50. Seriously, go look under your couch cushions and check the washer/dryer- you'll probably have enough. As far as people getting grumpy over csc stuff... If you don't like it- don't play. This site wasn't built for free and it will not continue to run free. If all you want is a super awesome fun game site to play with at no expense to you yet great expense to all involved in its' development, i'd say YOU were greedy, not subeta.
And personal opinion though... As mch as i love this neela- i think more colors on existing pets would be nice first :/ or at least simultaneously.

I personally believe you're just sore that you can't get a Neela. If you're that sore that staff is putting a few new petd in the CS then maybe play somewhere else. Others have clearly explained very good probable reasons as to why staff is doinv this. If you don't like it, I would suggest playing elsewhere.

i'm amused by how some people absolute hate the cash shop and csc, yet are completely dressed up in Delish items.
These are adorable! So cute ahh. The idea of a Cash Shop pet weirded me out at first but honestly 250 CSC is more than a fair price for a pet, seeing as we pay the same or more for wearables and monthly collections (:

Well, it is. You just buy the CSC from users selling it. It's how a Currency/Premium currency economy is powered. It is obtainable to everyone on the site. People just seem to be giving up without even trying for it.

I actually really like the idea of the Neela in the cash shop. It fits into the back story. Well, at least I think it does.
Plus the price is the same as a monthly collectable, so it doesn't seem so bad to me. This feels like something to quest for!

the way I see it, with all these extra things popping up in the Cash Shop, it obviously means that the site needs more funds to continue running/expanding. they have artists and coders to pay, which are crucial to standard maintenance/creation of new features, they have to pay the hosting fee, the server fee, various other fees for when the site crashes and everyone has to work their ASSES off... more features in the Cash Shop indicates more support is NEEDED. besides, I'm more than certain neela will be obtainable through the Zappers... so even if you DON'T want to go out and hunt for an elixir, you can still zap your pet into one. it's no different than hunting for an Experiment pet, except here you probably have a BETTER chance at getting a neela because it comes in several colors. stop going on about how 'Oh the best things cost money'

@Wolf_Spirit Don't start this again. The site gets so much money from users on a regular basis, but it's in a terrible state. Every time some large event or plot starts, it lags like hell and pretty much stops working. With the amount of users buying cash shop items, it's baffling. Morostide was a nightmare that shouldn't have happened.

Sure, I "could" buy CSC from another user shop, but how is that different than spending the cash through another avenue? I stand by my stance of hating CSC dependent items/features/pets. The more people that are okay, and worse off, cheering about this, repulse me, who in their right mind would be grateful for another feature that actually costs cash rather than points? Don't give me that BS about buying it from shops cause at the end of the day cash is still being given to the site for the feature one way or another.
