Starting now you can harvest the organs of other users in the Survival Forums by clicking on the scalpel icon (right next to kissing icon, they\'re basically the same thing, right?).
For those of you that would like to participate in kissing but not get your organs forcibly removed for your body, you can opt out on your preferences page.

Trying to find anyone to harvest but even on someone who appears not to be tapped out, it's saying they are completely harvested.
I opted out more than 9 hours ago and my missing parts have not been restored..
Is anyone else facing this issue? New kiss marks are still disappearing and showing up on my HA though! c:

I posted on one of the Harvest user above type links, and the person that I was supposed to harvest, is all harvested out. Is the achievement for that not working? I tried the person above them too, and got the same message, and then the page changed and was trying to refresh, but never did.
I opted out but it didn't stay that way and now I have missing parts. I really didn't want to be a part of this. I have opted out again and hope this time it will stick. No more please.

I think the amount of lag has actually been impressively low... I mean I know the site went down a few times but like compared to the nightmare that was Epicon this has been pretty smooth
I love reading all the comments where people are pretty much crying because their HAs didn't go back to normal as soon as they opted out. QQ moar.
I'm getting chikita adds that take me away from Subeta when I try to harvest from someone.
Okay, this is just sick, and I intend on continuing with this event as normal. (And pretending this other stuff doesn't exist.)
I turned off the opt out option and tried it once only to get a blank white page with nothing on it.
Doesn't seem fun to me. The site does lag a lot but you get use to it ^_^. You won't get any good quest rewards while the site event is going on but that is okay :). Whatever it takes to make the site happy.

Quentin already asks for items costing 10 mill or more for old holiday items. Why do the quests lag so much? It takes almost a minute for the page to stop loading so it will show what items they want. I guess my old computer can't keep up with the new digital subeta... Have fun friends :).

While the "opt-out" is an improvement, it doesn't help people who were UNABLE TO BE ONLINE FOR FOUR HOURS AFTER THIS WENT INTO AFFECT, and therefore have their HAs affected BEFORE THEY EVEN HAVE THE CHANCE TO OPT OUT.
If Keith's trying to be "generous" to people who don't like gore, this should have been opt-in, or at least set up so that someone cannot be affected until they have a chance to opt-out.
Additionally, this is WORSE than the previous mandatory-participation events, in that people had NO WAY OF KNOWING THAT THIS WAS COMING and preventing it, whereas with previous events, you could at least avoid the site, but this can affect someone

Does anyone know if the effects are permanent or not? I'd love to participate, but not if the effects don't fade like the kisses do. I don't want to be staring at my avatar's empty eye socket forever. XD

I love Hannibal because he is fictional.Instead of an opt out option for the event, why not give the option to turn off our avatar if we don't want one pretty please. Some are into avatars and some of us are not. I never was into avatars and will never understand the wardrobe system no matter how hard I try XD. This way those who want avatars can enjoy them and those of us who don't want an avatar can be happy too. It's just a suggestion friends nothing more please and thank you ^_^.

Do you have to do anything special to harvest, guys? It doesn't appear to be working for me. I haven't been following the plot so far, heh.

I'm not getting the notifications for achievements and they are showing with a red X on my profile, stating that I don't have them yet. They also aren't posting to FB, which is linked. They are working for my Mom though.
Hopefully this will please everybody. Some of us get gross, some of us get cute, and some really crazy bunch of us get both :D
I think the long wait time is because there is a finite amount of organs to harvest and so it is to give more people a chance to get things

On past events have you had to pay for a cure? I've never been on here during an event like this, and I'm worried I'll do the organ harvesting and then it'll be like SURPRISE I can't afford the cure :c (I'm super paranoid)

Yeah, I would also like to know what happens to the things that we harvest? I got someone's eye but nothing showed up in my inventory. Where does the harvested stuff go?
any way harvesting can be lowered than every 10-15 minutes any chance of every 5 minutes?
