Wow, that was sudden. There are definitely other sets in there that are older and should be retired first...

Guys, a few months most of the time means THREE months. Couple usually signifies two, few usually signifies three.

I am really bummed considering I only got one piece that I wanted from the Lady Grimdark set. I am very disappointed.

i'm only missing one item, but i still would've liked 24 hours' notice at least :/ overall i didn't really love the whole limited edition idea. unnecessary stress.
I do agree with Speiro that even if we knew they were limited, it would have been nice to maybe get a actual notice. That wasnt so open ended as 'a few months it will retire'

So glad I made the effort to get those sets! I was honestly surprised that they lasted as long as they did!
For those complaining that they never saw the items should've joined the ping group. They ping when the shop restocks. (although subscribing to the thread is better these days with the stupid ping issues)

I don't remember even seeing any of those items in the shop even though I checked quite often. Two more lines that I won't be able to complete.
People need to stop complaining.

As a new player I didn't even know about something like limited lines. I should have read old news. Atleast I got both long hairdos, which are both one of my favorites wigs.
Now the items are so expensive, I wish I have been online at midnight so I could have grabbed them still at the lowest price. But I can't change that now, so moving on. <:

Weeeelllllll, looks like I won't finish the Grimdark collection after all. I didn't even get any of the female lines, I only ever saw the male in the shop. :/

"A few months" implied a more specific announcement at a later date. I fail to see how neglecting to give us even a week's notice benefited anyone.

Well, this is sudden. I barely saw ANY of these lines restock and had to rely on resellers (and a special gift from a friend!) to get the very little bits I have.
I know that these were limited edition sets, but there were really a lot of pieces to them. So in my opinion, this was too short a window. Disappointed that we didn't get a warning/reminder that they were retiring soon (especially with the vague retiring in a few months deadline, which could mean anything.)

I know these were supposed to be "limited edition" but the "limited edition" sets from last year (the masq sets like sougara yun, mimi moe lockwell, etc) were legit in the subeautique for over a year....so...I did not expect this. I'm still missing three items from these sets.
I knew this had to be coming, especially since there had been such emphasis put on the fact that Greasemonkey and Grimdark would be a short-lived SubQ line. Glad I grabbed what I wanted when I did, even if I didn't complete the sets. :D

the only pieces i REALLY wanted that i missed were the greasemonkey …grease (?), and the grimdark lady hair

Even though I stalked SBQ and was lucky to catch all the items that retired today, and that we knew we would have a "few" months to catch these items, it would of been nice to say, a week or two ago that these lines would be retiring. Maybe they will come out for another masquerade event. One never knows ...
Guys I know you work hard, but would it really be that hard to be like "You have a week/month left to grab x x and x!!!" Like no offense but I wasn't HERE three months ago so I did NOT get that announcement, nor did I know which sets were the oldest and I was really trying hard to collect all the grimdark lady pieces. :/
dies I know they were only going to be around for a few months, but I didn't finish any of them. I only got a few Greasemonkey and parts of both Grimdarks, though I only need two Gentleman. A nice warning would have been nice, not that I had seen half of these pieces anyway.

I am not upset by the retirements because I figured it would happen soon. However, I really think there should have been an announcement. The original News post was vague about the exact time of retirement, which is probably a good thing; giving people a heads up would have been helpful and it couldn't have hurt anything really. (Just temporary crowding of the SBQ, temporary increase SBQ invite costs, and earlier rise in the cost of items from the set...) I doubt them being re-added to the SBQ but if there are ever any more limited editions added to the SBQ, I do hope the staff realizes they need to give a retirement warning just like they do with all the rest of the sets in the SBQ.

I rarely saw much of any line restock. Saw the Grimdark Gent's jabot more than enough times and that was about it.XD Oh well.
I still think a heads up would have been nice for people to grab them, just a couple days or so. I barely got any of the items because they were gone as soon as they stocked in SubQ. :/ This was way, way too sudden. "A few months" is pretty dang vague.
I've seen Greasemonkey restock like... twice but one refresh and all of them are gone... and one of the restock was the same item I got from doing a quest so I did not get that one... and another I only saw it when there's only 1 left and someone beat me to buying that last one. I've been trying to get Hazel Ornate Noon before it retired so I let some Grimdark items slide by me... but like I said, those are usually Gentlmen side of the Grimdark not Lady's side.
I'm with them... I hardly ever see Greasemonkey items restock. Maybe it was just me, but I also have not seen Grimdark Lady's side restock often either. Oh well... guess I'll just have to hope for getting it through whatever other ways I can get it then.

Oh well i'm happy. I bought the Greasemonkey wig for kinda cheap in marketplace a few days ago.
It was pretty much the only item i really wanted to get my hands on.

I got all of like... 3 pieces. I hope we don't do subq sets that only stick around for a few months again. It's a pain trying to get them.

:o I'm glad I managed to grab all the pieces! Did buy a couple because I never saw them in the SBQ. I did end up with an extra set of the lady eyes somehow.

geez im going to have to leave written notes everywhere for this kind of thing. There has to be an easier way of keeping up to date of stuff on here!!!
