Heeeeeey buddies, the party is going good and I met these dudes, Gunther and Angryface…no wait, Gunter and Angrybeard SORRY BROS hah hah. But man, look at the size of them, a dude that works in a brewery and a huge hairy pirate bear. I mean what else could be going through my mind other than DRINKING COMPETITION!Â
Gunter seems to think he can out drink Angrybeard and I was not about to let a challenge like that go unwatched by the masses right??? Ok so the party has been raging pretty hard here and we’re running low in the whole booze department. Do any of my very best friends out there happen to have any of those free beers left over?Â
If you do you should come by and donate them to the sasquatch you want to win and we’ll see at the end of the week who is still standing! If you manage to donate 100 free beers to either of the hirsute participants, there\'s a shiny achievement in it for you, with added forum title! And you\'ll gain a lifelong friend who will completely remember you in the morning.
I convinced the Token Shop people to stock something special just for all the other party animals out there!

i'm so done with subeta enabling the free beer hoarders with activities like this. you want them gone? suck it up and wipe them off the servers. will i participate in this? probably, so long as the prices stay reasonable, since i'm still a fan of achievements. still more irritated at this feature than i'm happy though, and i certainly don't approve of them :|

So. I collect anything on subeta that i see in the US for under 1K. It's just my hobby. Mostly, it sits in my huge shop. Sometimes it sells, sometimes it doesn't. I'm not trying to do anything with it. It's just one of the things I personally find fun to do on subeta.
I never AR to get the free beers. It didn't feel necessary or a good idea. I actually BOUGHT all 10K of my free beer from others. They were very cheap at the time and I just wanted to see how much I could get.
However, I would have no problem spending 300K for the beers today if I didn't have any. There's so many that there's enough to go around and I don't think that 3K/ea is really greedy or a big deal. It's just part of the game! :)

missed the TS but now that this item is released are the cakes not going to be released anymore? I am still missing one and I would like to get that achievement without paying millions upon millions for a cake.
I don't understand why people are upset. It was like only 300 or 400k. Have you even looked at how much the food achievements are? Some are in the 10mil range Bro, 10 mil!
i remember the thread with people hoarding free beer they were thinking ~specifically~ for the recycle beast, they even made a ping group. the other item too has a ping group. if it really was discouraged then the recycle beast is a contradiction no
I'm really with Twocents on this. You guys discourage hoarding and then make us wish we had hoarded. I mean I get that we need to get rid of them somehow but.
Really hope there aren't achievements around this. Not everyone is a hoarder -- something Subeta actively discourages! -- and every time I see an announcement like this, I kick myself that I didn't use AR on the free beer event two years ago.
lol I gave each one a beer. I'm not buying more free beers. Peeps got like 30k in their shop. I bought ones that were a bit more expensive @ like 4K, cause they had only had around 30 in their shop.
I'd love a "give all" option for giving the beer so that I can give him all of my beers without having to press the "give beer" button 100 times. x_x

To be honest though, they probably could've handled the distribution of the free beers a bit better from the beginning. Like putting a wait time in between collecting them, or something to prevent people from hoarding such absurd amounts of them.

I really regret missing the Free Beer event years ago! Ah well. Just bought 100 beers and it wasn't that bad. Hopefully this will be the last Free Beer sink though. This is getting expensive!

Glad I'm still having to regret not auto refreshing on a page on an event 2 years ago. I think this might only be the second time a Free Beer sink was added to an event, but I feel like not taking advantage when I had the chance has resulted in more missed opportunities than it should have.

To give multiple beers - right click and open new tabs. I did all of mine like that and it went quick.
I shouldn't have bought these because now I'll never get the rest of my cake. Not like I even could anyway because the cakes kept restocking while I was away and the notifications aren't working for me. Plus the whole once per day rule.
Got the goggles but I just know you're going to stock more cakes while I'm online now :P
