Tbh it's sounding sorta nightmare befor e Christmas like?? Jack locked himself in his home and didn't talk to anyone while he pondered about Christmas. Jaxon (even his name is similar) is not talking to anyone either, and would be considered the ~pumpkin king~
EDIT Post: Subtract the a from the first sentence and add you're instead of your to the last.
Could we get a staff member to confirm if this is some kind of clue we need to figure out or if it's just a waiting. Seriously though, why even post news if your not ready?

I misread the little message in the news article "The start of Morostide has come and gone.." and nearly threw a fit thinking OCTOBER HAS JUST BARELY STARTED WHAT DO YOU MEAN MOROSTIDE IS OVER ALREADY. But it was a total derp part on my end OTL I look forward to the surprises this year !!
I honestly don't get why people are complaining about not being able to enter and pick from the Patch. I mean, yes, it's fun and everything, I think it's my favorite part of Morostide, but it's a freaking annual event. You will have your chance again. However, a plot only happens once, chill out. Plus retired items always get rereleased in some way.

Really liking the tabloid journalist's eyebrow game here. I wonder how Jaxon's vacation is going. Let's see if any of this tabloid friends might have the scoop on that.
I think he was kidnapped by a rival pumpkin patch. The question is, if they ask for a ransom... would you pay? ;)

I'm sorry guys for having Jaxon lock his gate, but I could not help in all of my excitement to just go in and kitty-nap Snowflaik, But do not fear I will take good care of her.
I can understand why people are a bit impatient with this, since we only have a limited amount of time to roam the Patch and we hardly ever get all of the items we want (no, not all of the items, but getting five of the items we don't want for one of the items we do want eats up enough of that time; and can be annoying). But also, a mini plot is fun !
On the other hand, I understand Subeta also had to deal with an annoying DDoS attack today.
Also, I really do hope Morostide is extended, to at least include November first and second. It already has aspects of Dia de Los Muertos in it.

I'm not complaining, really. It doesn't bother me so much that we can't look in the pumpkin patch, it's just that I think at this rate it's a little too drawn out with nothing to do so far. Nothing on the first day of the plot I can understand, but by the next update I would have expected a little dialogue or clicking around or /something/.

Maybe Jaxon ordered pizza and Elwood didn't deliver in time so he had to make a special trip... and it's just taking a lot longer than he expected.

I'll have to agree with Memoria. I was excited at first at the prospect of a plot, but it seems to be going too slowly with so far nothing to do at all.

I must be one of the few who is really not excited be a potential plot involving Jaxon. We have a limited time to pick from the bloody patch as it is, now it is limited even more, assuming we are still permitted to pick from it whenever this bloody plot moves its arse along. This rate, be bleeding xmas before this gets anywhere. Not impressed.
