My battle pet is pathetically low (I'm not really into battling), but I do want to help. Is it worth bothering?

On rounds where Jaxon decides not to heal, my pet deals 275. On rounds where he does heal, he heals all that back and then some. Hmmm! This could take a while.

The fact that Jaxon keeps healing himself and the best damage I can deal is 116 HP makes me very very anxious D:
I feel like the longer I have battled him the less damage I am doing. When I first started my average was 300+ but now I keep getting 0 or 25 damage. Foo, is he getting tougher?
My highest damage to him was a bit over 600 and I managed to freeze him one time, giving me the chance to get 3 hits in. Shame we can't throw pumpkins at him :P
@Binder, I was having that problem too, then I noticed that before starting the battle you have to click on the bubble where you select your pet otherwise it'll keep refreshing.
Considering he's healing and I'm apparently doing 0 damage when I should be doing more like 50 I think it's safe to say it's totally pointless for me to keep throwing my pet in on this one. Lmao.

I'm guessing this is similar to the gelatin wars where any attempt is better than no attempt regardless of how futile the battle is... right?
Oh, thank goodness! Most of my 'catch up' is going to be done today but this is fantastic! I was worried I work too much to get anywhere in a plot on here but I think if I try hard I should do alright...however....the battles....now that's something else.

With the battle we already had to do in this and other events this year I wish we had a mind puzzle to fit with the rest instead of a big boss. Ok I'm reading that wrong... I'm not doing ANY damage at all with my best pet. So all three of my last attempts were not doing anything.
Well this is crazy! I do all of 10-15 damage before dying on the first round... and then he heals 750! How am I supposed to participate if my damage isn't damaging him?

@Pastels Did you run into the little monster thing moving around the maze at all during those times? I couldn't get the fuel to register for me until I made it to it once without running into the monster first. I think you're supposed to refresh and begin again if you do run into him.

You can see how much damage you deal each turn under your "total damage" at the bottom of the action. You can't see your cumulative damage done until Jaxon is defeated, though.

Well obviously this is it for me - no way I am going to be able to beat that guy that is probably supposed to turn into Jaxon. Might have been a good idea to give people who don't have kick ass stats or battle much a chance to finish the plot.

I did 28 damage with my weak little tier 1 pet and he didn't even heal, so it counts! This has made me clap and throw my hands up in the air and exclaim these things aloud excitedly! Let's do it again!!
I'm so glad that defeating the boss isn't required... I'm still pretty new, and my best pet is so bitty in comparison. :'D

If anyone is healing Jaxon instead of damaging (he heals more than you damage him), try adding a Stealer and using it with an attack weapon and attack spell. It'll probably kill you in the first move, but you'll damage him more and he'll not heal most of time (I think the programmers coded it because well... imagine if you survive it and you steal an weapon that does 100+ icons. It'd damage him a lot more)

Im only tier 2 and can hit over a hundred sometimes BUT he is healing 750 so is it better for weaker pets NOT to fight and leave it to stronger ones. Am I just allowing him to heal up and making him stronger, making it worse - advice please??

Just a warning for all the folks that can't get their pets to battle even though they're well fed and happy, usually when I have an issue it's because even though I lost a previous battle (or even finished it), usually when it's tied it hasn't actually completed the fight. If you go to statistics and check you pets usually it'll say (xxx) is in a battle!! [forfeit battle] because a previous battle hasn't registered as finished. Just happened to me with Jaxon!
The most I could hit was 37 so I'm probably gonna leave it at that in case he heals. Poor ol Jaxon, I wonder what Ian is doing at this precise moment.

I should have known we'd have to fight a boss. Subeta loves ending plots with one. Yeah nope, I'm out. We'll probably have to fight him together, though. So every little bit helps. I may do my part, then, even though my pet cannot put a scratch on him.

Global bosses like Jaxon are NEVER required for plot completion. No one is required to battle, but all help is welcome! Anyone who even attempts to battle Jaxon will get something out of it (outside of a beaten-up pet)!
I'm just going to give in - last five goes I've done no damage and he's just healed. :( I'll leave it for the elite people who actually bother to level their pets.

@Fenlai I hear you, a lot of people who have pets at level 2,000 are going to find this a lot more satisfying than one's that never make it past the first round. I'm in the same boat, none of my pets are above tier 1, and the most damage I've done was 53. But I feel like the difference is that it does feel like participating to me. I'm helping other people beat this challenger, even if I've only knocked 400hp off his health bar. So if fighting isn't your thing and you participate in plots just for prizes, I get how this could be annoying. But I don't get why people say that they can't finish the plot now.
I understand everyone when they say it's a group opponent that we're fighting, but as I said, I am not a battler and even when I attempt to fight I leave absolutely no damage, I've attempted 3 times so it's not like I didn't even /try/. My pets are the lowest of the low, I don't know what weapons would actually help me. So yeah, this is disappointing that I can't participate 'cause nothing I could do would result in anything.

Was able to damage him two times, but now trying to head back for a 3rd fight and my pet is fully healed, full health, full happiness and she can't fight. What's going on?
I'm using 2 bombs and getting anywhere from 86-130 damage each turn. C'mon Zay, you can do this.

After what happened with the last battle plot and barely getting anything for the damage I did (I think it was around 2000 damage total?), which was disappointing for me especially for the time and effort I put into it (probably about 100 battles), I'm starting to think it's not worth participating in the first place. My battle pet isn't that great and I don't have the time or money to train him dilligently so I'll be stuck at the bottom of every battle event which almost every plot seems to have. I know I'm just complaining and no one really HAS to participate in the battles if they don't want to but it really sucks when you can't do 1 part of a plot because you can't/aren't able to battle.

checked Statistics healed.. can't join due to unhappy/hungry pet (all lodged), are they too weak?
... can't say i'm a fan of the 'pac man' kind of game, it's too... fuzzy. ridiculously difficult to move around it :/ fingers crossed i have a chance of even making the slightest dent in what appears to be a group battle against jaxon.
Gonna keep repeating this so people don't give up: EVERYONE'S DAMAGE AGAINST JAXON COUNTS. Even if you're a tier 1 with 30hp, doing a little bit of damage is still helpful. Right now Jaxon has 198624054 hp out of 200,000,000, and I sure know that I didn't do most of that. The more damage you do, the better chances you'll have at rare prizes, that's all.
Yeah normally I can dent these sitewide bosses even a bit with my tier 3 and some bombs in the hopes for some battle credit but either I've just had terrible luck so far or I'm going to have to lose out on this last step. Bummer. :/

That game is terribly done. More than once I lost because the little person would NOT go into the hallway I wanted it to. When I spend 10 seconds fighting with the darn game trying to make them go down, there's something seriously wrong here.
This is a group battle. You will be awarded additional prizes based on the overall total damage you inflict (which is not affected by how much the boss heals); nobody is expected to take down the boss singlehandedly!
And this is a really bad time for me. I have so much to do today and tomorrow, so I hope it doesn't hurt my plot points too badly. X_X

SpiritedLass you had to go downstairs to meet Asmodeus and the actual lab is the door in the middle behind all the boxes etc. You went in that room way earlier in the plot remember - where the electric chair was?

Will this be like beating the Tempest, when all of Subeta joined in to fight one opponent? I don't think the staff would really make Twisted Jaxon that difficult to beat alone. He has 200,000 hp for crying out loud.

I got through the maze and headed back upstairs, but can't find the lab. Where's the lab? What's the next step after you beat the maze?
How the hell are your average site users that don't prioritize battling supposed to finish this plot? I don't have any chance of denting this thing.

Uh, can't seem to make a right turn into a pathway that looks open? I can see where i need to go, but my guy won't go there, he runs into the air like it's a wall. ._.
The controls for this game suck, you have to literally hit a wall before you can move up or down. If you try to do it beforehand and prepare then the guy screws up
