Cash Shop: Slaglord
Over the past week, the Darkside has reported higher than usual levels of volcanic activity. It appears that the culprit behind it all has decided to show its face!
The Slaglord, as it has been called, is more a force of nature than anything else. It has ignored everyone who is not in possession of a Slaglord Signet. If you\'re feeling brave enough, you can purchase this summoning item in the Cash Shop.
The Elemental Mage has stated that he believes more of these forces of nature will appear throughout the year, so be on alert, battlers!

Im wondering if the 10 speed, means he might be a bit like Mechalag and take ages to kill? need more info from the battle thread before I risk the csc.
As someone who has done a little work with a foundry, the name makes perfect sense to me and i've never even heard of the slang usage of the word until now. Huh. o_O Anyway, great art, awesome challenger! And i'll probably be buying an extra copy of the signet for my wardrobe too.

LOL It would take years of training to get my pet anywhere near strong enough to fight this guy, so I won't be buying it - the art looks amazing though.
Ah. I would love a rock/clay/golem like pet or experiment pet. Well I guess there's the Magnus but it looks more like a dragon than a stone gargoyle.

Was kind of disappointed to see a news post alert to find out it was just a Cash Shop item, BUT this guy is super cute in his own way and according to the battle forum he has his own minion. I want it.

My first thought... Obsidian Slaglord from WoW. (via wowpedia) "The Obsidian Slaglord is a massive lava elemental found within the Molten Front." I assume this is no coincident?
LOVE and hate (for poor people reasons) yet another awesome CS opponent. WEARABLE DROPS <3 <3 <3 My two favorite parts of the site combined... always so tempting... Do we know how long he'll be in the shop?
This would be the start of an interesting new elemental sort of trend. His appearance reminds me a little of Forj Matriarch though.

mmm anyone else really in love with the warm glow oozing from its "neck" area? I don't know, but I think the artist did a really good job coloring the light bouncing off of the rock and the oozing lava-like substance. /unrelated sidenote/
I agree, this would make an awesome pet color! LOL. Man we're getting a lot of pretty opponents lately, my pets aren't strong enough to fight em but they're sure nice to look at. The item is pretty too ahhh.
Dang. On one hand, I love him. What a handsome beast, I love him and I love the art. But on the other hand - he looks super soft and kind of more like he's been gradiented than subeta-shaded.
Daaaaaaang. I'm used to seeing the basic stuff so new opponents always catch me off guard, haha. A bit too tough for my pet but amazing art nonetheless o3o
Awesome! I totally love the idea of the opponents being connected to the battle elements! 8 elements = 8 new opponents! Can't wait to see what the other 7 will be like!
