Closure of The Balloon Hut
Sad news for balloon lovers everywhere: The Balloon Hut has closed down. Former shop owner Tiffanie has made a deal with game owners down at the Carnival that allows them to use some of her leftover stock as prizes.
There is no word yet on what will happen to the rest of the remaining balloon stock, but we can say that Bibi and Lilah seem eager to get their hands on it. Perhaps they'll be open for donations from charitable Subetans soon!

If this keeps up we WILL lose all our wonderful land-specific shops. These shops make each land unique. First the Graveyard shop, now the balloon hut. This makes me angry
If any one was in the sb the other day Keith cruelly hinted at this saying this is why it wasn't in the updated main shop page XD Yep never gonna get that balloon achievement finished.

We closed this shop because we almost never added new stock to it. There wasn't any reason to keep a shop open that had the same few balloons just sit in the shop all the time. We didn't want to go ahead and simply retire all of the balloons, so we went ahead and put them where they make some more sense, the Carnival Games. :)
A bit of warning would have been nice :( Just like we didn't get when the graveyard shop closed down, or when the snowball shop changed.

What the heck is going on?!? Please stop closing land-specific shops! It's taking away from their special-ness! This is so not cool!
i might be in the minority but i feel like this is a step in the direction. why did the site have an entire shop dedicated to balloons in the first place? the stock was a really shallow pool and they never struck me as in-demand items...
I'll just go ahead and take the balloons off of my wishlist. No point attempting the achievement.
