I'm very pleased with most of these revamps! Love the new fangs and those butterfly wings are great, slightly disappointed the spider silk didn't get a wearable version but those fangs are enough to keep me happy. Thanks guys!..or gals.

love the bird wing, they would be perfect for a Weeping Angel HA.
As for the demon wings, still pretty disappointed. They look better than before but still ugly, thats just my opinion. (Im very picky about demonic/bat wings)

Love all of the new revamps, especially the Butterfly Wings!
Also, everyone,
Rah said that they'll be working on bringing back the old overlay somehow, but right now, they're working on getting the lineart fixed, so please don't worry about the Wings of a Fairy too much, because they'll be fixed before you know it!

I'm gonna agree with everyone and say that I miss the transparent fairy wings. These look a little too solid compared to the originals...
Everything else is great!! I'm really happy the old spell ingredients are finally getting their much needed revamp :)

Oh my, I'm gonna be borrowing Lorenna's spell ingredients to wear now! The fangs are lovely! I'm afraid I have to agree with the general consensus that the Wings of a Fairy are not an improvement. They've completely lost the transparent "fairy" look now, and instead resemble cape-like hanging cloth pieces.

I'm going to jump on the fairy wings bandwagon and say I really, really prefer the way they used to be- but I also want to say how incredible the birdwings and butterfly wings look now! Holy cow, I couldn't use the butterfly ones before but I sure can now!

Really kinda haaaaate the wings of a fairy now. I bought them as they were because I loved them, and honestly don't really want to change my avatar just because I don't want to lose them. Looks like I'm not the only person who really dislikes that particular revamp. (it seems bulkier, less detailed, and has a completely different feel to it) Please dear staff I hope you are listening, can you please bring back the old look and maybe give the revamp a new name....
Most everything else looks great... I'm just really unhappy with the wings change.

I'm so happy the Demon Wings look like they're actually usable now (a bit of a bright red, but i think i can do something with them)! Also loving the Naga and Viper Fang overlays!

Everything looks really good this was long overdue. That being said I think everyone addressed the whole fairy wing problem. I like the new ones alright, but they are really missing a sort of dainty-ness that the previous ones had. I also liked the color of the first wings, it's pink but not too pink and I think the new ones cross the line in to slightly too pink for my taste in this one. But as they said below they are going to improve further, so that's good. Overall the update was a success.

Anyway these look amazing! I am so excited that spells galore items are getting some love! They are great wearables and tc items and it's so neat to see them with beautiful new art, I love them so much and thanks for giving some old and out of date item art a much needed update. Beautify the site!

Wow @ "why bother to revamp old items when we could have new ones" especially after there were really specific complaints about those new chibi experiments being "why bother with new ones when we should be getting revamps"
Chill out you guys we get revamps and we get new items, revamped pets and new pets, there isn't really anything wrong with the mix of those things that we've been getting, progress is being made both ways.

Everything else looks great, but I'm with those who think the Wings of a Fairy have been ruined. The item itself was pretty enough that I had it in my gallery, but well, now I've gone and removed it.

I hear you guys on the Wings of a Fairy revamp - as a new item they would have been fine, but they did lose something in the revamp. We'll work on making a new version that's more like the old overlay - but we want to fix up that lineart a bit!
As to the snail shell, that one will be fixed/added soon as it seems to just have been missed!

Not a fan of the redesign on the fairy wings...that's just me preferring the older more delicate looking design (especially how they looked almost...translucent. <3 ) with the multiple layers though. The rest of this is amazing. Those butterfly wings are especially glorious.
Really hoping you guys revamp all the Egyptian themed ones like the various god(dess) heads. c:

I'm really like the Naga Fang!!
I was never a fan of the snail shell to began with. Always thought it sat weird on the HA but the image item revamp is very nice indeed. Thank you guys for the revamp's.

...Wow, I really don't like the new version of the fairy wings.
Would have liked just a revamped colorization of the original shape. The new shape is very 5yr old's costume looking.

All of the revamps are great....except the fairy wings.. I really don't like them now, and if they stay like this I'll be really unlikely to use them anymore. which is sad, because they were my fairy wing go to.. I loved how they were delicate.. translucent. and Multilayered...and NOT PINK. They were lavender... the rest of the revamps are great. But those I agree, are a step back rather than forward..

The Fairy Wings kind of remind me of the Radhas Luxe Belt, remember when that was changed? It was a whole new look. I loved the multiple layers of small wings, now it's much different, just two big wings, it's like a new item. And it looks kind of costumey. Perhaps, if there's time, we could maybe see an updated, better version of the multi layered original look?

Pretty please, if you must keep the new version of fairy wings, perhaps bring back the old version as a new item? I have to say I was a much bigger fan of the old design. My HA doesn't look nearly as good as it used to now. :(

People are whinging that revamps are taking precedent over new content when two brand new storm pets were released earlier the same day. Claims that the staff isn't listening or asking the userbase what they want run fast and loose. Meanwhile, when staff asks for input on what needs a facelift or fresh coat of paint on the forums, people accuse them of making us do their jobs.

I agree with @Lantern. There is so much that staff listens to. While we may not be happy that some things may be done over others or be happy with the outcomes, the point of the matter is that staff DOES listen. They don't disregard players and what they say. Maybe some things are said that Staff doesn't feel necessary to implement. That's their discretion. However, staff does listen. Most other pet sites don't do that. Their mottos are, most of the time, "Don't like it, stuff it!" Subeta is much, much different.

Love the newly wearable naga and viper fangs! The revamps look really good, especially the newt eyes (they may be usable now) and butterfly wings. I do, however, find myself agreeing with many others that the fairy wings are a bit of a problem. I loved the delicate, translucent quality of the original. The new ones, while they are still a bit translucent have lost the delicacy.

@magpie but pixelated edges could have been redone/revamped with little change. Plus I'd be okay if they revamped them and kept the daintyness of them, but they didn't.
@Wolf_Spirit I never said that fairy wings weren't large... I just think in the revamp they could've been made equally as dainty as the old ones look. It was an item I would use all the time with pink and purple outfits and now I don't wanna touch it because it just looks bad.

@kristi1980 We've been releasing new items along with revamps. People specifically asked for spell galore revamps on the forums as well as the last spell galore revamp post! Some of these items are so old that they ... aren't exactly pleasing to the eye in pet's treasure chests. Not only are some of these revamped, some of these got overlays that didn't have them before (aka the fangs). So it's adding something new to older items more than just a revamp item image!

I can respect your opinions, but I also think that if the artists are going to work on something, revamps are no the way to go. There i sso much more potential to this site other than just redoing old items, or taking the same items year after year, and changing colors and designs, or adding a suspender, and calling it "new."
I just ht ought the whole reason that this site was created was because "another" pet site was getting too big and not much caring about their members opinions, and now this site deems to be doing the same thing. The money to run the site comes mainly from the members, and our opinions don't much matter.

Hmm the only thing that bothers me are the fairy wings. They had a very delicate ethereal look to them in the previous version. I'm not really enjoying this update to them (everything else is phenomenal though and much more realistic looking) Perhaps it's the added difficulty that there isn't really a precedence for fairies to use as a base reference XD
I really prefer the old version though.

I am glad the birdwings have this color! Because I was devastated how the batwings went from this same grey to really huge and reddish (?!) and completely ruined one of my saved HAs! At least I can switch for these now <3 All those revamps are SO exciting, more more MOOOAAARRR puh-lease!!
