Ontra Revamp LIVE!
After reading your feedback, we\'ve made a few little changes to the proposed ontra revamp and it\'s now gone live on the site, along with the 13 other common-posed colours! Thank you to those who took the time to comment and and/or praise, we very much appreciated the feedback and the love shown for this revamp, and the artist responsible can\'t wait to start on the special colours to get them all up to date too. Hello to the new ontra!

YES!! Just the little bit of tweaking from the proposed version really made it. Great job on the revamp, and kudos to the artist responsible! :)
Personally, I'm not a fan, the bottom part of the image doesn't even look like it's attached to the top, it looks like a completely different pet.
I've always been a huge fan of Ontras, and I was sad that they never get any love, so I'm glad for this revamp! There's a special place in my heart for the old design since I've been with it for so long, but really nice job on this redesign. They look a lot more appealing!
Yeah, I'm going to have to do a new overlay for my ontra...but SOOO worth it! Damn, these are cute!!
i'm of the opinion that this is arguably the most successful pet revamp this site's had, save for maybe the aerie to irion. can't wait to see how the repose colors turn out, because i'm over here thinking about who i can morph into an ontra now. big kudos to the artist responsible

Wow the edits from the proposed are very subtle, but they make such a difference! I really love the update on this guy, you make me want to nab a new pet slot for one ahh ;-;
My boyfriend just started an account today because of the revamps, he loves otters and they were so cute, he DEMANDED he get one lol

@oblivion Rude :( I'll admit I have a couple issues but honestly it is an adorable design and even if it isn't your thing, it would be nice if the effort put into designing the revamp could still be appreciated. I am not an artist, and this site and the community surrounding it just continue to inspire me into wanting more pets, more colors and more items added to my WL. So even if something isn't my taste or a small part doesn't fit into my vision, I appreciate all the artists out there and love seeing what you all come up with. Keep up the hard work and inspiration :)

Okay, I'm going to be straight here - I have never liked the Ontra. It bothered me for some...reason I will probably never understand. But this revamp? This revamp is stunning and I may have to get one eventually. It's just so cute. and it has EARS OMG Um. Anyway. ... Another petslot, apparently.
Ehhhh...still wish it had its old personality from the previous version. Still not a fan of taking these pets and making them "cuter"...

Seriously, this is one of the best and most warranted revamps in a really long time. Oshawott went inactive recently and I am in sudden remorse for not grabbing it instantly -laugh- ahh, I will find a reason to have one, soon adorable otterthing... soon.

Great job artists! I love that you listened to suggestions and made the nose a bit more square, dulled the "seam" on the forehead, made the eyes smaller, etc. Wonderful revamp! This is why I love subeta!!

i'm not a big fan but i think it's just... the ontra's design. the art looks nice but the design just isn't my jam.
I love the final version!! I'm so glad that the fur tufts down the forehead have been toned down because they were distracting before! I also like the new face and eyes in general. This is fantastic. I'm seriously tempted to work out an Ontra as a pet now. Not to mention, I'm uber excited for the special colors!

Great job to the artist; they interpreted everyone's concerns/suggestions and made a pleasing update. I've never been a big ontra fan myself, but these guys are certainly adorable. moosh
Love the additional tweaks done to the ontra c: I feel like this suits Subeta's art style much more
Lovely! The slight change from the last proposed revamp makes it much better. It went from looking fearful to looking playful, makes all the difference.
@Speiro I am inclined to agree with you on the Field. The baby liuks more lime green than grassy-coloured lol! It's almost as bright as nuclear! XD
OH WOW!!!!! THE FINISHED VERSION IS GLORIOUS!!!! Whoever the artist is really DID take the comments into serious consideration and implemented them to gorgeous results!!! I can't WAIT to get one soon!!! :D (too bad more pet slots couldn't be given out to commemorate this gorgeous new pet)

Overall very cute, but still not a fan of the tail & doesn't really go with my character now like the orig (might overlay in the future). But still, again, cute :)

The only negative thing I have to say is that the field ontra is too bright and yellowish for my tastes. I prefer the darker greens the newer field pets have been getting, like the neela, noktoa, and tigrean. I really liked that trend and wish more field pets followed it.
But really though, A++ revamp overall. :D

It's so cute!! Definitely my favourite pet revamp, I love it. (: I can't wait to see the special colours too, the new design is lovely but I'm definitely going to get one of these. (Once I decide between common, marsh, twilight, cream or silver it's so hard to choose!)

An impressive revamp! Much improved, in my opinion...never really gave much thought to Ontras before, but i kind of want one now...
They are lovely :heart: Can't wait to see the rest. Need to get me an ontra elixir goes to rummage in hoard
I like how they are still cute but dont have that chibi faced, domesticated look the proposed revamp had. Nice work, artist! c:
Oh man, the Nuclear Ontra looks souless and creepy on the first glance, and I love it! Looking deeper, I can see the iris and pupil, but it still looks epically creepy! I may have to get one.
