Yay, my birth month! :D and omg THAT MINION. I also love the Statuettes, but not the wigs themselves. Not my style, personally. Still love the set overall, though!
The bg, tattoo's & plushie are my favorites from this collection :) All here for a plot! I wasn't here to participate in the last one.

I love that tigrean hair! I am a little disappointed in the sea witch skirt, only cause it just seems really stiff but I do love the shading in it. But that fruit salad is gorgeous!
ALso, who doesn't love a bunch of xotls taking over your avi? Love it.

There are only maybe a couple of items I want from this month's collection.Other than that,most of these are not my cup of tea.But,I'm glad that the older collections are being released once again.
Absolutely no interest in this months' collection theme... but I'm not even going to mentally bitch-fit about it because even though it's my birthday... I'm still over the moon with the Delish sets, so I'm good. :) Love when big crazy hair gets some love though. Plus event this month, yes, yes event? Please? Now? Let's go! (I'm glad to see how many others love this theme, however).

What I love is bringing back the old collections. There are books I haven't read yet. Thanks for this awesome chance.

Oh man, I agree that bringing face paint back would be amazing. I always wanted to get it done, but it's closed and just sits there TEMPTING ME!

August is my birthday month. I love oceans and Islands and I'm really excited to see what themes are like!
Some very cute items here, but nothing I'm dying for. I wishlisted one item. I know everyone wants dat plot but I hope I won't need that damn map to participate if it does happen... I never finished it because basically the only reason I would is to vend shrug Maybe if there IS a plot or something I'll be more inspired to finish that map and go to the Islands. ;)
Since I'm broke right now I'm glad I only see 1 thing from this month that I want, the background. So putting it on my wish list.
Wowee kazowee! I've never bought six of these before, and I may buy one more, this is an awesome set. My next HA was queued up as a spaceman set but now I may have to change this.
Now I'm drooling over the idea of the lifelike Xotl not being in one spot on the HA but ALL OVER the place. Once people realize the severity of the problem they'll just have to help Matlal out.

I really love the xotl at the front of Poison-Filled Gourds but the rest is a bit too much for me :( It would be cool if we could transform it to either the front one on it's own or the pile of xotls or as is with all of them.
OOOH, MORE NATURAL HAIR! Yayyyy, they look gorgeous <3 Also, I have a love-hate relationship with the older collections being re-released, since I always feel compelled to get them in case they don't come back again. But I'm trying to save! booooo
Yay Omen Islands! I wasn't here yet for the original Omen Island plot, so I'm super excited to see some new items, new and revamped pets, and an Omen Islands map!
I just hope all these hints are for a war/plot that is going to be actually competitive and not just "you get a top prize and you get a top prize, EVERYONE gets a top prize". It's not much better than the average week when you have a plot that only incentivizes an extra 5 minutes of play time every 3 days, like most have.
Can I say that as a redhead in real life, bravo for having so many options for me in the wig department, it's awesome!
I wish the witch fins were the actual fins and not a skirt... but I suppose we have a lot of mermaid-y type tails already.

I LOVE HOW I ENJOY THE THEME FOR MY BIRTH MONTH ALMOST EVERYTIME. The fairytale collection from 2013 is still my favorite but this is spectacular.
Also: extra love to the person who made the Boid, it's such a fabulous minion.
