Chaos on Subeta as spirits continue to pour from the heart of the gathering mist. This weather phenomenon, centered around the South Seas, remains unexplained and is believed to be of supernatural origin.
Connor Rainsong, the councilor for Shadowglen who has been investigating the odd events around Subeta had this to say:

But even after all this time I'm nowhere near being able to beat the likes of him.

As much as I agree you dont get life on a silver platter, some people just cant do it. I for one get major headaches with how it refeshes every turn. Its like the old games before they were revamped. Im not complaining, I have no interest in battles. But its like people who hate petes game, or the boat, they made ways to get past it for them. So its nice to see they have ideas for us who dont battle to skip it.
Sure its annoying people complain, but even with amazing revamps, or subq releases, or even new free stuff people always have something to nit-pick. I just take it with a grain of salt. Telling people to gtfo with complaining on news posts will pretty much do nothing xD As much as it would rock if it did, it just causes more annoyance from those on the other side. (Like my being excited for 11pm releases, as nothing is ever at a time I can get on in pst. Everyone in subetas time zone flips out on me saying its not fair. Its just how this place is. Nothing is ever right unless it is all about you as a single person.)
But anyway! Rant over haha. Im just seriously glad that its unlike some of my first few events where if you didnt battle, you were screwed to hell and back. If I had any desire to battle I would. But I dont have the time, interest, or eyes to handle it. I love any events with connor in them so super happy I am either way XD

@Lillita I remember seeing somebody speculating about a new island a while ago and NOW IT'S ALL THAT I CAN THINK ABOUT WITH THIS. Is it going to be a spirit realm? Can Jaxon be there? Can Ian go visit him whenever he wants? Are Connor and Jaxon's ancestors going to be there? Are we going to be able to learn more about them? SOMEBODY STOP ME MY BRAIN IS DOING BAD THINGS.

I really hope it's not required to beat these guys in order to complete something! :( I'm still a little new here and don't have a pet strong enough!

Blah, I got in about 6 or 7 turns or so before my T8 fell to Tashiin... Still though, that's better than I thought I would do x)
You know, everyone complaining about how hard the challengers are and how unfair it is to people who don't battle...you complain about this EVERY event. Train your pets. I can't even touch Taishiin, but am I bitching about it? No. Because that's on ME for not training as much as I should. You don't get everything handed to you, that's how life works. Work for it or chill out.

Am I the only one thinking that the stats jump from Lui and Ta to Tashiin is huuuuge? Not that I'm complaining about new challengers
Awww... I can only beat the coin, as my highest tiered pets can't fight the fish and the dragon... :(

Well, I'm out of the battling here. Pets are just too weak. I'll look forward to their alternative, whatever that may be.
@Kat: I agree 100%! It is so easy to train on Subeta, especially with the alert system reminding you whenever the course is over. I've been a member for 5 months, only active about 3 of those 5 months, and have a T4 pet that was able to beat Lui and Ta 5 times. It still only costs me 6300 sp per course and takes only 90 minutes. Plus, experience and Battle Quests make it even easier and cheaper.
BD pets are something that you need to put effort into before the battle step arrives, and for those of us that do, it is fun and rewarding. If you can't beat everything now, it is OK! There are amazing guides on the Battle forum, and with preparation you'll be able to do more next time! (:

Ah crap, been at work all day and just got home so haven't had time to fight the 1st one except once, now 2 more? I'm still trying to get quests for today done. Not enough time. :(
I should also add that @kbbob is amazing if you need help understanding or even finding a set that works for you. I owe alot of my battling success to him.
But I have a bunch of EXP points saved up! Maybe...
