@kbbob ah hah, well ruche is a pleated, fluted, or gathered strip of fabric and rhymes with swoosh for an idea on how it is pronounced. Bandeau on the other hand is just another form of brassiere or a band-shaped covering for the breasts. If that helps, which I hope it does.

Bandeau, derived from French, a band that goes around the breast area
Ruched, referring the the gathering of the cloth, which is called ruching..a way to add decorative shapes..volume...texture to a garment.
