New Shop: Medicontra
Selina has opened up a small shop called Medicontra that provides for those ailments she isn’t able to treat. You’ll be able to find things from wheelchairs to canes to bandages!
Medical items that were once sold in Home Appliances, such as Extra Strength Pain Pills, are now in Medicontra.

After all these years, users got their wish! I'm cool with these new shop setups too, do they still count towards the restocking achievement though?

I'm surprised a lot of these items didn't exist already! Smart thinking with the blankets on the wheelchairs. Thanks for making Subeta a more inclusive place. :)

I was just thinking, and itd be awesome to have far more medical related stuff added. Guess Ill have to make a thread in suggestions, but stuff like epi pens and medicine bottles, hospital gowns, those funny hospital socks, iv things..etc would be so cool. Plus more casts, like neck braces, full body cast, those huge leg casts, the boots, knee braces...etc. I am going to have such a field day with this stuff xD I just love medical items.
Apparently, they don't show correctly in V3 wardrobe, but you can place them on you avatar using the old wardrobe, and wander into v3 to fix the layeriong. The items themselves won't show, but you can still clickdrag the placeholder to layer.
I can't remember an update that I was so totally excited about! I saw the suggestion thread ages ago, but didn't post because I wasn't exactly sure how to feel about it. On one hand, I've always kinda liked that websites like this are a place that I can leave that part of my real-world existence behind, but on the other hand, I am what I am and I'm not ashamed of it, either. Much love to those whom suggested this, AND to staff for going above and beyond to make it happen. :revolving_hearts: Y'all ROCK!

@Wolf_Spirit It depends on the type of shop. This is a special shop, so the items are r105. We might make a shop tomorrow that is restocking which means the rarities won’t be r105. :)
I really hope sometime you also make wheelchair ones with like, pants or skirt or something that's relatively neutral (maybe someday there'd be a seated base option that swaps all the clothes to that post? But OMG that would be a LOT of work, I'm certain!)

Yesssss prosthetic limbs and crutches! Been waiting ages for this sort of thing. So excited to see a medical shop!
I LOVE THAT THIS STORE IS NOT RESTOCKABLE. Restockable stores has uneven member shop prices. Stickers should be like this. OMG.
it kinda makes sense to make accessibility wearables.... easily accessible for people who, you know. aren't fast enough to restock things. due to disabilities possibly. you know. MAKES SENSE TO ME at least
Actually speaking of just shops in general, is it possible for these shops like Medicontra and GoOutside to be added to the main shop page at some point? I'm pretty sure I'm never going to remember the name Medicontra haha.
I really like that it's not a restocking shop; those are honestly the most annoying for me to deal with, and since I know that restocking shops won't go away, non-restocking ones are a really nice addition. <3 I have one problem though.

@Amber i just now noticed the rarity...will all new shops be listed as Artifact and non-RSing now?
I don't see why we can't have some shops that you don't have to restock from? It's not like the staff have stopped adding items to the restocking shops, so I don't see why we can't have both types. Not everyone likes restocking, and I much prefer these style of shops personally.
Echoing what a couple others have pointed out - I absolutely love the shop content, but why isn't it restockable? I would rather have a normal shop than one with fixed prices, which seems to be the recent trend given the Shengui Guo (Fresh Foods) and GoOutside shops.
Ooh great addition! As others have said, I love how the site aims to be inclusive to a wide range of users. These are all great additions. The only other thing I'd like to see is some motorized/electric wheelchairs. Might be more difficult to figure out a way to make those for an HA, as blankets + motors don't tend to mix well (I have inadvertently ruined a few). But could still be interesting :D
This is awesome. If there were bent arm casts (casts that go from hand to upper shoulder, elbow bent at 90 degrees) I would've been able to use it when my arm was broken last year! >w< This is seriously great though, nice representation!

This is a permanent shop, right? I'm kinda excited cus I have some severe medical problems, and this shop covers some of the stuff I end up needing offline, so the representation makes me smile.

@LilyValentine I am forever Clarice as far Hannibal stuff goes. I am not sure how to do cosplay, but these items work well in all my Hannibal inspired pets treasures.

I adore how all inclusive this site is. You guys rock so much. MY dad visited in September and he had to have someone walk with him or use a cane. He is not in good health. and My mother in law has to use a walker because of a bad knee...Seeing these make me tear up a little. Seriously..thank you.

Not only are these great for representing real life, but you also added in a creepy bloody wheelchair like in asylum horror games. Very nice touch!

Yeah, I was going to ask if anybody was having that problem. I really want to wear the quad cane but I can't find it in my wardrobe...
can I hug every member of the staff for this because I will I love you all for this. my HA constantly has on the prosthetic from the underground but it always left a weird taste in my mouth that those were the Only place to get replacements (not that im not appreciative of em bc there's a lot of creative non-prosthetic replacements too n I love that) and that those rose thrones would be the closest we had for wheelchair bound ha's to even remotely signify that, now we have an actual shop for this. prosthetics and wheelchairs aaaa. ;w;

These are amazing! I've been wanting them for so long. I don't know if I'll use them on my HA as I don't use a wheelchair at the moment. But sometimes I definitely could use one, because I'm not exactly able-bodied either. I love the blankets, they're adorable and give great variety even though it's a new pose that other clothes won't work in. Thank you so much! Now we just need walkers, and more variety of wheelchairs (like power chairs).
Oh cool! Had to get the snowflake wheelchair for my gallery. I love the way this shop is set up, without having to wait for it to restock all the time. Wish the other shops were more like that.
I do have a question though (maybe this has already been answered idk). Why are the newly added shops non-restockable? Is this an idea in testing?
Wow, I'm pleased by these "disabled" items, even though I'm only mentally disabled myself. This is good for people who are disabled in real life wanting to make a HA that represents themselves, or characters with this, ones from meida or made up cahracters.

Thanks. This stuff is awesome for pet's treasures and wardrobe. Since Alana spent time in a hospital bed, wheelchair and on a cane this year on Hannibal. I wanted some of all these things. You all need to revamp the hospital bed. BTW I have only seen tennis balls on walkers not walking canes. Walkers would be a great addition as well.

There's a folding cane! :heart: That makes me so happy! I wish glasses could be moved here as well, but some people don't use them medically, so that makes some sense.
