The 7th Anniversary of the Great Pandemic, also known as 'Survival', has dawned upon us, and in this time we must remember to pay our respects at the Survivor Memorial. You might see the memorial flowers in Seedlings or floating, so keep an eye out.
Skitters has a great selection at the Zombie Den available for 2016!
Louis also has new merchandise for those with enough candy hearts, which you can get by being kissed on the forums (or do the kissing)!
Gunner is back and recruiting to the world of the Unliving with his Voluntary Infection Program! He appears to have discovered four new strains this year, which he's eager to see the development of and have help naming. Which virus strain will you try for?

I agree with @Grishiu, the text is a little demeaning. Maybe something along the lines of "Don't be silly, you can't kiss yourself!" Just something a little nicer.
I would like the artists to know that they did AMAZING with these new items.

That's the problem, I'm not infected yet, even though it's been 16 or so hours now? Not as in it doesn't show any sign of infection but as in "you have to wait to be infected even longer". Don't know if that's actually part of the problem aswell or if I'm just incredibly unlucky

I'm still not infected?! Seriously it's been over 12 hours now... Also my Forum thing says no biting - WHY? I singed up for an infection shortly after the news post came out and I've been active an the forums, so people should have been able to bite me.

I wasn't very excited about the first few items in Louis' shop, and then the more I scrolled down, the more I wanted to cry because of how beautiful the new items are. Thank you <3

Yeah I signed up for 5 hours ago when the wait time was 2 hours and 30 minutes.
I haven't gotten an event and the VIP page still says:

And now the wait time is 3 hours and 15 minutes.
Is it not working or is there a specific reason for this?

@Salkra Also, I learned through answers in the FAQ that the free option can also include the ability to get one of the new strains as well. So just wanted to clear that up from my last post. :)

@Salkra Yep! The reason you pay for that strain is so you can only be bit by users who have that specific strain! If you choose the free option then ANY older strain (since new ones can't bite yet) could bite you & you could end up with something you may not want! But yes if you have more questions I'd definitely recommend checking out that FAQ. :D
@Amicorn Thanks! So if I want an older skin (I have my eyes on the 'lobster face' skin) I'd have to pay whatever price upfront it's listed under AND THEN have someone with the skin bite me right?

@bluemoonlightgirl - While the correct word in Japanese is "senpai", it is translated in the west as "sempai", since the "n" sounds like an "m". So technically, you are correct, but the sticker is a reference to the western joke of "senpai notice me". So, their spelling of "sempai" is acceptable.
@Salkra When you sign up for an infection it will progress through stages (around 4-5 days) until it hits the final stage & can be redeemed as a permanent skin in your V3 wardrobe! If you choose an older strain you will need to be bitten by other users from that strain to become infected with it & then can progress through the stages. If you choose a new strain you will not need to be bitten as it will advance on it's own! However, there are no previews for the new skins and will not be redeemable in the wardrobe until the first group progresses to their final stage!

These Louis items are BEAUTIFUL. I love them so much! I'm so enamored (ha ha) with them, and for the first event in a while I have so much to collect now! I love how some of them are inspired by types CWs around the site. Helps us poor Subetans! ;o

IMO L'amour Parlor > Zombie Den this year. I need like 3 of everything in there.... One to wear, one to feed to a pet, and one for a TC. Good job this year. I can't wait to see the virus stages!

Thoroughly impressed with this years Skitters and Louis! The items are lovely, especially all the unique ones in Skitters! The mushroom themed items are to die * snickers * for!

@NoelKreiss Check the forums! More than likely someone will post a list about the names & infections. Or you could always pick the free option & go in a forum and ask to be bitten by the strain you want!

I can barely get on site due to the lag in firefox... Can't get on at all in Palemoon or Chrome I hope this is fixed soon..
@_blackwolf_2009_ Ah yeah, I took that skin off a few hours ago, I guess the wardrobe hasn't updated that part yet. And it looks like I can infect people with that so yeah the skin and the infection are the same thing.

@_blackwolf_2009_ You can select one you have received previously, you will not get any benefit if you already have it unlocked in your skin section though!
