Second Wave of Menagerie Items!
The Steamworks Menagerie has added a lot of new items. This is the last wave of this year, so don’t worry about more items being added! The Masquerade ends at 11:59pm on April 3rd, which is when dancing ends and the items from the 2012 tab in the Menagerie will be retired.
There are also three new drinks in the Libertine Lounge!

Really lovely items this year! I just wished the train items would transform into a version without the fabric between the legs to use on longer skirts. (maybe an item picture with a little less steam?)

@Neverfell I haven't seen him either. I've checked practically all dances I've had and im pretty sure I've gone through at least 1500 tokens worth of dances! I haven't seen him once :( I've even waited on the ballroom pages sometimes upwards to a minute to see if it was just slow this year.

But I was wondering about the frequency of Boudewijn's challenges. I've been dancing as much as I can, and I don't want to imply that we aren't meant to work hard for tokens, but I haven't gotten any this year so far, and I remember how they worked last year. Am I just really unlucky?

Awman I was excited for the shoes but they look so weird and long, and not in the good way like some other heels you guys have. At least the boots are amazing.
But seriously, dying over that circus colour. Stripes are da bestttt. Im actually glad the skirts are short, I never use long ones here. So I can find ways to wear them any time and not just masq.
I am a bit sad that the side shave didnt have the super cool spore colour, but I guess we did need more natural alternatives.

Great new stuff. But I miss when the steam shop used to separate the items by category (i.e. books, toys, makeup, etc), it was easier to find what I was looking for.
This year's items are incredible! And some of them work really well with the Survival clothes, too. (The seafoam and cream ones especially)

The short ruffled skirt seems to look odd with any rift outfit I try to throw together. D; I guess it really doesn't help that I'm not much of a short skirt kind of person, especially when it comes to masquerades. Too bad there are exactly 0 alternatives for the rift theme, and I don't recall the masquerade ever having the third wave.
Still, even though the items are less then elegant I'm pretty happy to have a rift theme at all. The blue and teal colored items are really nice too, along with a good number of the male items. Definitely digging the Old Black Picture Frame.

oh thank god there's no weapons this time around, i've been so busy with stuff that i couldn't dance as much as i'd like. that being said, thank you for all of the books and TC fodder :D!!! the artists did GREAT

Really dumb question, but when you say retire 2012 menagerie items does it mean PLUS all the years running up to 2012.

Ooh the tin rocketships and antique grooming sets are really great lookin hair, I love the color selections for both!
Hi, does any one know if there will be retirements to the Lounge? I haven't seen anything mentioned in the news but I just wanted to check in case I over looked it. Thanks.

The items are lovely but am very disappointed that there are no long dresses or long skirts.
i love these! the picture frame and pocket watch especially - so much treasure potential on top of them being really solid wearables. thanks for a great wave of items!
the fact that there are even more wearable shoes that are actually USEABLE without looking like you have deformed feet brings a tear to my eye
