Hoarfrost has returned to the Battle Coliseum for the rest of January. Good luck finding and defeating him!
Once you’ve unlocked him, he will show up in the event tab!

Finally got 5 wins!
Lovely foe. Now I just need to find which tactics pair well with my equipment and pray his forsaken scroll-blocker curse doesn't hit too often... got him down to 5k health on the first attempt.
No plushie/beanbag? Kind of relieved, not that I stood a chance anyway XD Good luck, battlers! Also, nice art on the items themselves

whats wrong with the forum? all boards that i visit dont show my posts ( but i get the message that i cannot post twice in a row if i try again)

I'll definitly not be able to beat him yet. But yay, loot prices will drop, I need those items for TCs desperately. xD
I managed to beat him once, in a long, drawn out battle. I used an Unstable Sample Syringe and Swashbuckle, blasting first with Soma Tablets and Recycle Blaster. He deals mostly ice and dark icons with a metric ton of wind. In my case I don't have a good dark blocker that heals so I went with the wind blocker (Swash). For scrolls you could use most anything that does 8% heal or more. I used a Holy Deluge with as many Cobalts as possible.
@Jai it may not be possible to beat Hoarfrost with Avaeri yet. My one win was with 4k+ speed, strength, defence and 3k+ intel. You may be able though, I would never say it couldn't be done. He does a lot of blocking except for fire, in case you wanted to stock up on potions. Good luck!

I must have found him last year because he was already in my event tab.

Woo finally! Also there may be a glitch? I checked in all the places I suspected he would be and got no notification, but when I checked my event tab he was there. Make sure you check your event tab as you may have already found him without knowing it!
Okay, I tried to post this on the battle forum, but my post is not showing up. Any hints on how to defeat this guy? He's not listed in Mr. Cool's battle blog.
This dude is uber cool but none of my pets are battle ready except for one of them. They won't be able to bet him anyway, but I would love to try it anyway.
I don't know why I thought his wins would carry over instead of reset. Ah well, time to try again! I got to 2 last year, I haven't grown as much as I'd hoped but I'm gonna try hard.

I clicked here to see how to find him while also checking the battle page and it appears I already/still have him but I cannot beat him oops :P
Thanks Amber, I found him, in the Ice Fields. Came back, saw his Stats and OH MY GOD, not this year, hopefully next.
Found him and all my battle pet Loco can say is "Mummy I got a big boo-boo.... now run like...."
Oh damn, so this is Hoarfrost? I have his wearables but this is the first time I've actually seen him

@jKat: He shows up in Event tab in BC for me. If he doesn't for you, perhaps you'll need to venture into the Ice Field a bit until he shows up, or Arctic Frost (I'm not too sure about the exact location, I just know that he can be found somewhere there (AF) :D
