Thanks so much everyone! You all mean the world to me. I feel so bad that I've been so absent lately due to real life, but I bet many of you know that feeling - all work, little play, haha. Logging on today to see Merci win is a wonderful feeling. You all inspire me to keep on writing - goodness knows I haven't been able to touch my pets in some time.
Fun fact about why I made Merci the way she is: aside from the fact that there is way too much sadness in the world, I was heavily inspired by my own history and by Mr. Bob Ross. I struggled with terrible depression for over a decade before I finally broke free of it. I understand the dark things people think when they are truly down. I truly do. As for Bob Ross, he is simply a beautiful soul that inspires me. Kinda like Mr. Rogers.
