OMG, the nostalgia! I had the pink popple back in the day.
It is very cute indeed xD
And I'm guessing I'm the only person here who has never heard of a 'popple'...!

The art is really cute. This is where two things in my childhood ended up with me not knowing what a Popple is. One: I had two older brothers who controlled what I watched. Two: Because of them I grew up as a tomboy. My toys and cartoons veered more into TMNT, GI Joe, and various other "boy cartoons".
One year I wanted a Popple for Christmas... but Popples weren't cheap and no one had much money in those days. I wanted Pretty Bit or Potato Chip, but instead I got some green thing whose name (Putter - see it wasn't even cute! says seven year old me) I'd never even heard, and I was so disappointed. But I faked it for my aunt (who always got me the best presents, the ones my mom couldn't afford) and Putter eventually made a name for himself with the rest of my toys. I learned to appreciate him in time. Good ole Putter.

Tbh I had to read the comments to see what this pet referenced to. I've never heard of Popples before, but it is cute!
