Blue Building Updates!
Blue Building quests are back and better than ever! They are now on the same system that Pete, the Library, and others are on. Which means you can easily do your Blue Building quests along with your other quests, assuming you have access to the Blue Building. ;)
To celebrate these updates, the Blue Building Shop has new items!

Man I miss the 40 point give out. It's nice that the BB and quests are easier, though I personally didn't mind the old system. Haha this is just going to make it harder to get that background. Good thing I alrwady bought everything else in the Blue Shop xDDD
@BoaConstrictor They're much much easier to do now.
I agree with you that item management is a pain in the goddessdamned ass and the improvements to teh Vault don't make up for it.

@elka @buddleia Blue is on the same system though as Carl etc which is why it was moved up there. Yeah, it doesn't give quest points, but they're the same set up. The Blue Building will count for quest-a-thons just like the other "normal" quests. Shinwa and Battle are different and are at the bottom for that reason!
@elka Yus, you're right. Arranging the Quests Widget by "questgivers who give sP and Questpoints" (Carl, Cinthia, ... ,Wizard) and then "other quests" (Battle, Blue, Drills, Shinwa) felt more streamlined and intuitive to me.
We already need to remember to do Shinwa first and to skip either Sarah or Saggi when working through the quests; this adds another layer of "oh yeah, gotta remember that detail" while questing. Of course it is a very minor issue, but it's the sort of user interface thing which can make a difference to how much I enjoy playing.

@Amber i think what @buddleia meant is that since it's still somehow a "different" quest, it could go beneath the "quentin, pete and so on" type ones.. like Battle and Drills etc. since the 1st ones are in alphabetical order, then it "breaks" and then those also start back in alphabetical, it would mean Blue would be under Battle! i think a few other users (like @Austria) feel like that too, and i second it! altho it's just a technicality really but ayyyy ocd eyyyyes lol! LOVE the changes, already got the 2nd sushiiiii, now working towards the rest!! ♥️
I wished, they would still give out 40 points and NOOOO items. I (have to) avoid doing quests that give items ever since we got our grand new shop system with teensy weensy bit of space and not really loading faster.
A 20 page shop with only 1 page of not adding up sale history, that doesn't even show you sales instantly, so you could react, will always load faster than a 300 page shop. That was no achievement. Sorry, still a very sore point in my now therefore much more tedious and time consuming Subeta Life.

More recently the quests have been extremely expensive usually making me quit 3 out of 5! I hope with the update they have returned to what used to be normal!

Not getting sP for doing the quests isn't really an issue. Both yesterday and today, doing all 5 quests only cost me somewhere between like 30k-50k. That's not very expensive at all considering you get 100 BB points and 10 items out of it that you can sell (or frag them and get some Crystals for your trouble as well). You can also make up that 50k pretty easily by doing other quests.
I'm glad I'm not at all interested in the background... but Saya needs that sushi. 300 points each is doable.
I do wish the Blue quests hadn't been put at the top of the quest widget, though. They're "different" so I feel like they should be at the bottom with Battle and Drills, instead of in the alphabetical list.

Even though I'll miss the chance of getting double points, I really like the changes to the blue building quests. I actually might start doing them again (it really was way to expensive before).

Yeah....10,000 points for the new background isn't even really worth my time. 100 points a day max is....it didn't take me that much more effort before tbh, so cutting the points in half because I'm saving a few seconds at most doesn't really seem like a great exchange to me. Most of the stuff in the shop isn't even worth the effort put in to get points. It's nice that the shop and quests got moved to the new system so it's cleaner, but it doesn't really feel like much improvement beyond a facelift.
100 days of dedicated questing to attain one background and literally nothing else from it seems like a little too much honestly.

I see that we get points and an item or 2 for completing quests but no SPs so it costs to do them however much it takes to purchase the items. Don't really see anything in the shop I want that much. The new bg is pretty but too dark and just looks almost black on my computer. So at this point I'll try a few and figure out later if I want to continue doing them.
Thanks for the update! And a gorgeous new bg ohemgee better get back to doing those quests because there is a great need.

@teacup132 That’s not how the quests worked before. :) The Blue Building quest, before, would increase your rank if you finished in the first tier of time (under two minutes). This has been carried over. The points before were 40 (under 2 minutes), 35 (2-10 minutes), 30 (10-15 minutes), 20 (15-20 minutes), 10 (20-30 minutes). Like I said, the quests are a lot easier now so having the points that high is a little ridiculous.
There was a chance you could get an additional rank along with items for completing it in that first tier but it was never a guarantee. We’ve made it a guarantee that you get items and a rank for completing a quest fast, instead of adding the ~chance~ at an additional rank + items.

@teacup132 We didn’t lower the rank involved. :) The only thing touched was the points, because before the Blue Building quests were a bit annoying to complete. Now, with it being on the same system as the other quests, it’s very quick and easy. The quest has always given you more points for completing it fast, it was not exactly a challenge before but it’s certainly not one now.
@Amber Although I understand the rationale of lowering the rank & points awarded due to the items being requested are less expensive, I am disappointed. Investing a certain amount of sp made points more valuable. Additionally, it would have taken half as many days to earn the number of points desired. I would have prefered either an increase to 10 quests or an "expensive" option where the items asked for cost a bit more but we get the points we used to. I feel this is a dumbed down version, which is very disappointing. Yes, I can understand why it was done... to encourage more users to do it; however, I find it unfortunate the changes occurred without giving us an option to earn what we used to.

Somehow I have enough to buy the star which leaves me with just under 8k to make so I can buy a second one for the other pet's tc. Makes the price a bit less painful.
Love the change in the item pool. I've had many times where it wasn't worth it to do any of the five quests or was able to do just one quest because of it asking for really high priced items. So the change in points rewarded doesn't bother me

@Amber cannot wait for information on the ranks. I've always wondered about ranks and what the highest rank is at the time being. :)
