Items having to do with real life people really don't have a place here; I get why they did back in the day, but given modern times and how much Subeta has expanded since they're just not great. I actually love that they're being revamped into something completely different. Especially the Nichole Richie poster like....I'm surprised that's not some kind of copyright issue tbh? And it seems a bit tacky to have an item that's legit just a photo of someone. So I'm glad they're changing, and I can't wait to see what the staff come up with next for things like the old shirt, the poster, and the pins that have been mentioned in the comments :)
Damn, there goes another one of Jolette's TC items. I might as well just dump the poster 'cause a one item collection makes no sense now.
yeah, I'm with @Valiska on this one - I get the reason for the change, but I do wish the revamped versions could be more similar to the 'tone' of the original items, especially for people that use these items in treasure chests.
I don't know why people are so mad at certain items being changed. I'm fine with it, but then I've only been here for 6 years. I think some of the Keith items got changed to King Keith, I wouldn't mind if they kept doing that.
@Amber if staff are determined to revamp these old items, why can't they at least be similar in nature to what they were before?
Why would you make a book about a teenager's obsession with a celebrity a book about a family man instead of releasing it as its own thing?
Why did you turn some of Keith's plushies into different characters entirely instead of just giving them different names? Then you could've released those characters as themselves so people could get them of their own free will?
(The irony of me having anything in any of my collections that's meant to pay tribute to "animal liberation" activists cannot be fully appreciated for those who don't already know that I'm an exotic pet enthusiast, carnivorous animal conservationist, meat eater and most importantly someone who works in medical research hospitals.)

Seems the details are missing and the coloring is off. It's making it harder for these old eyes to see the fine lines.
I'm so sad every time a cringey old item gets remade. Especially given how much I've paid for some of it :P

There are also some items with... Pretty cringy old descriptions. I do not know how to post about them in the forums, but I think it would be nice to change some descriptions and names of items.

I think 'irradiated' would have been better than 'radiant' but meh. Really nice revamps otherwise, even though I'll never use them. Not my cup of tea wearable wise.

Does anyone have the old vers of the Arid and Common shoes? They're the only ones I couldn't find.
The boot colours look alright to me, but I do agree the plushies have been muted a little too much.. especially the Bloodred beanbag, it's hard to make a lot of the details of that one out now.

Gosh like 48 hours ago I booted (lol) all of those warador feet from my wardrobe, mused over them a while, decided they probably wouldn't be updated any time soon, and fragged them. xD
Thanks for the revamp, they are much sleeker. Definitely agree they didn't need to lose the brighter colors though. But the overall look is pretty nice.

First time Subeta was attacked it was over Longcat being added. Second time is gonna be Nicole Richie being removed.

Oh thank god I'm so glad we're moving away from real celebs being directly on site. Like, death tribute items do tributes right. That Amy Lee shirt is hilarious and needs to go like, five years ago.

I wouldn't mind it so much if you'd just take Keith out of the items and stick with the themes. The Amy Lee items I have are in the TCs of pets who are celebrity-obsessed, not large family obsessed.
(I'm still salty about finding out that a Maybel plushie replaced a Keith plushie in a collection that can't have things removed from it, I admit it, but. Yikes.)
