The items in the set were either unbuyable or - again, I heard this from word of mouth and didn't confirm it personally - going for 200mil sP/ 2k csc. So even though 20k tokens is a LOT, it's still cheaper in the grand scheme then they have been going for! :0

I'm super excited about this! I was one of the lucky ones that got these prizes years back. I've been wearing the eyes ever since I got them (I don't think I've ever taken them off actually) and by far they're the item I get asked about and complimented for the most. I'm really glad they're going to be more available soon. :D

So what I'm getting from these comments is;
1) people think a site item where 250 copies were given out over 5 years ago, many of which have probably been lost to inactive accounts or other mishaps (zapper, accidental deletion, ect) should not have been re-released at all and should not be obtainable by people who were not around during that event
2) people think that 20k wizard tokens is a high price to pay for a very exclusive item and are putting others down for putting in the effort to save up that much by saying the price is nothing more than a contest to see who can waste the most time on this site earning money and tokens
And honestly like....y'all need to take a step away from your computers or go outside or something. Coz one of the things I love about Subeta is that they don't make things exclusive and find ways to release old items so that there are new copies floating about. For an item like this that is so sought after the price is well justified, and if you can't be bothered to take 5 minutes and do daily wizard quests and save your tokens for one or 20-30 minutes to do all the daily quests and earn 3-4mil sP per day and save up for it now that there are copies for sale in the user shops again don't put other people down. If your play style comes back to bite you when something like this comes out you only have yourself to blame, and casting it onto others who put time and effort in and then get to reap the benefits of it just shows your own laziness more than anything.
I wish I had enough tokens for the jacket but I've only recently begun saving mine instead of blowing them all on vending every day so I don't have that much, but I'm not angry about it. In fact that just gives me more incentive to keep saving, especially because I get the feeling the rest of the set is going to follow shortly through other means like BHH or CS. But just the fact that these items are going to be obtainable at all again is good enough, and I thank the staff for making the choice to not make items exclusive and keep everything obtainable, even if it is expensive!

@Mackenzi yeah, I think they'll go with BHH for the tail and maybe horns, and crystal shop for both the contacts. Not sure if we have other limited shops. But they could put something in the recycle shop for an insane amount, like almost Ametsuchi-worthy or even higher (maybe the other item between horns and tail, since 2 items in BHH seems unlikely).

Judging from past news (July and Aug, 2014), about 250 of the Horns and Roses items went onto the site. In those 5 years, many are sure to have been "lost" on inactive accounts.

And thank you! Finding something for the bodice for Sailor Cosmos was not easy and it's still not perfect, but I am happy that I pulled something together. Your HA is very well done, good color coordination and the hair ornaments are very nice with the hat.

@Ambition Funny thing is, I had almost 100K wiz tokens rotting in my vault until I went on a giveaway spree for Beltane. Now I'm down to 20K again and that being said.., @Diana If you really feel badly about buying the jacket, I'll gladly pay you back the 20k tokens for it. the river stone is pretty, but with my schedule I doubt I'll catch another restock, so I really don't need the tokens for a while.

Some folks are still bitter the value was ever that high, others are happier that the items will be available at all, still other people are upset that their items they got from the original run might be worth less than what they paid for, and another set of folks disagree with limiting the rereleases by price or venue.

I have no interest in the jacket, so bought a reborn potion instead to add to my hoard. The jacket might be 20k, but no one is being forced to buy it. If you want it and can afford to, go ahead. If not, don't. Is simple enough, really. Same goes for other high-priced ts items.

Oh well. Literally no decision Staff makes can be worse than allowing people to pay IRL money for custom pet skins and then permitting them to be submitted for Pet of the Day *shrug*. This just seems to be the path that Subeta is going down nowadays and it's pretty sad.

They've mentioned recently in the update threads every week that they have been planning on bringing these items back, but that they would still be expensive.
I wouldn't be surprised if at least one of the items ends up in Blackheart Hollow, and the others will also end up costing a decent amount of whatever currency for the special shop/place they end up in.

So many people complaining about the price and yet there were a very small amount of these originally released, at least a few of them now on inactive accounts. Of course any re-release is going to be expensive! At least it's an on-site currency that doesn't cost anything, not like they're asking for csc or something.

Wow the last thing to be released that I couldn't afford was a legendary weapon and it wasn't this expensive lmao. My only complaint is there's none of my WL items in this restock so the only thing I want is the potion, and I am a simple a bog tortoise, and am too slow to get potions from the token shop :P

it takes about 20 minutes for me to do all my quests, i don't think its a valid excuse to say you don't have time- even if you just do wizard quests (if i'm crunched on time, i do shinwa, saggi, wiz and quentin) it'll only be about 5 minutes most, even on mobile. theres no need to shame others who do their dailies, imo. it's just unnecessary. let people play how they want to play- if the way you play comes and bites you (i.e not having enough wizard tokens) then you shouldnt pull down others who have played to gain the currency. there's really no need for this, guys.

OMG, thank you so much for releasing this with tokens. This is the reason I had a massive stash of tokens built up over many years. No regrets spending them on this.
