...persistently getting only (few same) old ones, not the ones from a few weeks ago, either.

I seem to only have the ability to catch the older fish. Do I need to slather some special bait all over myself or something? lol
I try to play it but I get bored after a few times (which explains why I don't fish in rl). Really needs to revamped to not have page refreshing.

I thînk the hot and cold clues work. I think it's split into a grid of nine squares. I start in the top left corner and work across until it says cold. Then go back and work down. It seems accurate.
I don't think the hot/cold clues are real but just random comments because sometimes I've been super close, click on the next square and suddenly I'm no where near it. Dumb and useless.
agreeing with everyone commenting that as a game, it's stupid. After ten years, I still can't tell if the hot/cold clues are completely random or actually mean anything. I can't tell if there actually is a "best spot".

Yeah, to be honest, I wonder if the hot/cold thing is even accurate or if the whole thing is just random and the clues are meaningless flavor text because it never really seems to make sense. I've gotten "so close" so many times and in all my years here, I've never found the big treasure (if THAT even exists).
These are great fish though! I try to play once a day for the fish even though I've all but given up on the treasure at this point.

Tried it for a couple weeks after the last revamp but gave up because it doesn't make sense and too much trouble. Good luck to everybody else though.
I appreciate the new prizes and all but the whole game needs a revamp, it makes little sense at this point
No I'm not because this game is dumb and stupid and even when I quarter the board and know for a fact I can't possibly be more than a couple of squares away it tells me I'm 'nowhere near' :rage:
Good to see the more easily forgotten parts of the site getting some attention (If I remember right, we had some new fish last month too). I don't really play this game that often but this might convince me to.
i dont know hell or damn about fish but i have determined that those are, in fact, Some Good Fish
