Due to programmers being busy with the site bugs/issues, the Fireside writing contest won’t be happening for Fireside. It will happen in the future, but for a different holiday!

@Raspberry I usually just do a mad donation at the center but I thought why not ask? I will most likely be doing the same as always.

Guess it's time to liquidate a few mage amulets so I can buy a few of those backgrounds I need for a tc.
Also, = NO. I absolutely hate opossums and not because they're ugly. They're actually worse than the river rats here. We had them getting into the unfinished part of the basement that ended up with us having to rip out the duct work to the family room because they got into it and were using it as an outhouse.

No, no, no. It's: "HOORAY, Winter is here!" Those backgrounds are absolutely gorgeous and I need them all... too bad I'm broke, haha. The little Ruffie and Jollin are the cutest thing ever and I love the fox and the hound reference. I think my most favorite thing is that adorable opossum though, such a precious baby with his little hat. He looks perfect with my current Krampus HA, too. They're gonna be best buds as they frolic about punishing all the bad children of the world.

I love how different places in the world are represented by the keepsakes. Was almost going to complain how "Summertime Christmas" is always represented by Australia and never by South America or Africa, but then Rainy City Keepsake ended up bearing a huge resemblance to São Paulo and I was like "oh, that's cool"; then i saw the Desert Keepsake with an African savannah and I was like "oh, that's AWESOME".

Those backgrounds are going to end up being a long term/not this year/probably never project due to rl hardships. Can't afford even one, but I'm glad they are available because they are so pretty!

Opossums are my favorite animal of all time (theyre such funky little critters if you really research them) and this item is so cute!!! ;v;

I love all of these. I need the Keepsake's that match my tree backgr4ound. I always love the winter items and this year is no different.

I was wondering if there is a way to donate towards the Free Shop. I know it is run with staff donations but I have a few things I overbought with hopes of being more active for Luminarie. I would love to be able to donate them to the shop if I could. For example, I have 604 Colorful Mystery Cakes. Just over 100 100SP vouchers and lotto tickets as well. Normally I dump it all in the donation center closer to Christmas day, but I thought I would ask.

I guess it's not a problem about the story contest since mine didn't have a specific holiday in mind, just a general story. Frustrated by the short limit though, can't say much in only a few characters. Looking forward to it coming around some time.

My story didn't have much to do with Fireside anyway because of the character limit. I'm sure whatever holiday this ends up being for, I can still fit it in somehow.

I love that you made the tree backgrounds in to HA backgrounds since they are so beautiful. :D (I didn't get some of the other backdrops because they're too dark and I can't see any detail in them, they just look nearly black on my computer.)

aww not a new item but i saw the pepperminnow plushie in the millionaire center and got excited thinking there was a pepperminnow minion...but there's not :sob: all the new items are beautiful though and i'm gonna work on getting at least a few of those keepsake bgs! ty staff as always :heart:

Yikes. I always save around 800 QP + 50mil for these and I've almost always had it covered minus a mil or two :S The site issues really left me in the dust with this one. I just barely saved my normal amounts about two days ago, and now I'll need even more to catch up OTL

good thing my story wasnt geared towards being fireside and it was a fun challenge to write a cohesive story in under 600 characters anyway, so even if it doesnt happen thank you for the impromptu writing challenge
