One thing going wrong after the other - but us pira…uh, traders have aren't ones to back down from a challenge and with our excellent nautical skills we have brought the Freyalise Trading Co. back to shores once more! Stop on by to trade treasures - old and new, with us!
We'll be docked until the end of the month, so please don't delay! You can also visit our friend Carl, who is generously giving out our wares in his quests, with total permission of course. Got the hang of restocking thanks to you friendly folks in here!
Constant hanging pages are making it virtually impossible to get any of the Freyalise restocks. Another event done in by technical errors.
fun stuff abound, but it's looking like i might have to just vend and play with carl and Pray, every time i visit it's all empty orz
Clarifying: refresh every time past the "last restocked 5 minutes" point until you see a restock.
Here's a tip for anyone who doesn't see anything in the shop: right now, the shop seems to restock every 5-7 minutes or so. Once the counter hits 5-7 minutes ago, refresh, and you should see a restock. Now, things do go very fast. But I have found that I very rarely miss restocks with this in mind, even if I don't grab something good every time.
For those unable to get anything in that lovely shop of annoyance, I suggest do all NPC quests (not only Carl gives out hauliday items) and visit the :ocean:Ocean Depths:ocean:
This year's batch of items looks great! Been lucky enough to get a few from OD vending. Still hoping to get that koi mermaid tail.
when i first logged in i saw stuff in the trading co. but couldnt grab any of it, and sense then i waited through 3 refreshes and its always immidately empty upon restocking
I'm starting to think they are hoarding all the items, its always empty even when the store just said "Restock now" ^^;
Have yet to even see a single item in the shop itself, but I'm averaging 1 new item per day via Carl, and about 2-3 per a full 500 item vend each day at Oceans Depth (Wearables & Hydrus Stickers only so far).
How small are restocks at the shop?!?! I've caught a few and then there was a total of 5 different items!
The lag tonight is rough.. might just be my internet but I don't think it is. Making it tough to get restocks.

I hope we get the battle opponents soon! Last year I was so ready to take on Fish Breath Jacques, but I don't think he ever showed up.
I don't even do this event or holiday. So few items restock and I never catch them. Good luck to those that have hours to try for them.
The items are adorable, but I have not been able to grab a single one out of the shop. This event frustrates me every year. :( We don't have this issue buying items from the shops during Neugarten...
@shywanderer If you go to Subeta in the menu tab, then Item Director, and switching it to Descending order, it'll show the newly added Keel Hauliday items!
This event has been a fun dash for grabbing items! I'm really enjoying it, as this is my first time participating in it! Is there somewhere I can see a list of all the items to see what I should try to go for?
I like that this is still a restocking event. I feel bad for saying that, but idk, I enjoy restocking and there aren't many events devoted to it these days.
Kinda wish this were like the masquerade shop and we could just find Doubloons to buy the items.

"There are no items stocked." As usual. The pirate shop is just frustrating not fun unless they start stocking a decent amount of items. Otherwise it's still fun dressing as a pirate. :)

I do wonder though... is there any chance of Drunk Carl's quest dialogue being updated? The "That wench Babette kicked me out 'o her establishment fer gettin' too bawdy wit' her barmaids" part seems to have super unfortunate implications.
I know pirates aren't supposed to be upright gentlemen so I wouldn't push this if no one else agrees, but it still seems a little skeezy to do quests for him. :)

I hope Freyalise Trading Co will be in the mystery box this year. That and Carl will be my only hope of snagging anything.
Man, am I happy I checked subeta before going to bed ( usually I only do it in the mornings XD )
Let the impossible restocking begin! This is the only time where the BHH feels easier to restock.
Carl gave me a couple things I didn't have, but haven't managed to catch anything in the shop yet. Will keep trying!

The first hours and days are always the hardest. When some days have past, you can usually buy the new items without being frustrated. The more the weekend comes closer, as much easier it is to get items from the shop, because the shop is filled with more items and more duplicates of one item. Sometimes during the early morning till early noon. should be the best time to check the shop. Or when you have a free day in the week, check the shop when everyone is taking a nap. laugh Sometimes it was helpful for me. ^^ Good luck with getting the stuff you want. crossing fingers

Finally got a couple of items by refreshing the shop for the past 5 minutes hahahahahahahahahaha (this event is going to drive me insane)

Is there a trick to Freyalise? In all the years since Keel Hauliday, I've never caught any restocks.
@hannahharmin there have only been eight new Achievements for 2020 so far, and six of those have been Subeautique. A lot of previous years' Achievements had Forum Titles as a reward and folks started complaining about this, is my guess.

Never have luck at pirate things either.. not even Carl is very friendly.. guess will wait until over and see if can get some things on sale.

Are Pirate items going back into the Ocean Depths vending machine? Haven't seen any after 200 vends.

I just started and finished all 15 quests for Carl, right after this news post announcement. I did not get any pirate themed items. Is he not working? Or am I just unlucky?
I love those underwater items. Makes me feel validated with this HA I made. I also like the call back to
