Job Agency: Give us your ideas!
I would like your opinions and requests for more Jobs for the Job Agency.
I know a lot of you have jobs in mind for your pets that aren’t available yet, like music-based careers or working for a specific NPC. Let me know on this thread what you’d like to see happen for your pets or add to some suggestions/ideas already listed there! I’ve added a spoiler at the end of the main post of areas we already have jobs such as the Library, Candy Shack, etc. I'm keeping this as transparent as possible so everyone can see what's coming up as far as new jobs. <3
My goal is to release some of these ideas starting this Summer, even holiday-based ones. I’ve also taken into consideration the income levels are just not worth it for some jobs, so I’ll be looking into adjusting those.

I would love for one of my pets to be able to work for Euclid! A head-canon for all my Darkonites is that they are owned by someone who's studying under Euclid. They were trying to mirror one of his experiments and accidentally turned a stray Feli into a Darkonite and now they're obsessed with Darkonites lol.
How about a Rift Research Station? Could have positions such as security detail, sample collector, research assistant and lab tech!
Spells Galore for witchy, wizardly and magic-using pets of all types. Working for the Wizard would also be good.
My pets love the job agency...."Chaotic Moon earned 30,000 sP for their work today! Good job! " finally got one pet there. Love that you guys are looking into this area.
Just want to chime in that I LOVE that the Job Agency is getting an update, and I'm a big fan of a lot of the new job ideas.
I would love for my storm pet to work with the Tempest! Maybe giving out free hugs or something :) we need more Tempest content!
I absolutely agree with all the medical job requests, it's definitely the one I want most. I also wholeheartedly support more shadowglen stuff and something cyberpunky for lower ziara.
I am still hoping for more forest or glade related jobs, out in nature. Like guardian of the forest or something ^_^
Some sort of crime fighting job. Something with comic book vibes. And a villain/evil job to contrast it. Maybe the "evil" job pays more initially but the hero job pays (proportionally) better in later tiers.
Music Shop would be great!! And so would a magic-type job, maybe Wizard's apprentice, or even an apothecary apprentice? A jailer type too, maybe, a prison guard. And maybe a for-fun job of being a thief!

Mine are looking for just about anything in the Darkside or Shadowglen areas. Grave digging, grave robbery, casket making, haunting a mansion, etc.
There aren't any medical careers.
Also someone was talking about SAI to make money and I told them SAI is only worth it for pets who are actually spies, because I've made farl less than 100M for any of my SAI pets and you have to spend at least that much on books to get their intelligence up to what's required for the top tier.

I wanna suggest more tiers for some already existing job listings, but first I would love a list of what each job has to offer. A link to "all job listings" up at the top (before/after the high score), where we can see each place, click on them, and see the tiers/titles for each one (maybe requirements for them too if it's not too cluttery).

I need more zombie/Shadowglen based jobs. The only two I see is for Half Baked and Quinton. Working with Rochelle, Skitters, or Zozi could be fun?

I definitely agree that a lot of jobs aren't worth it! I don't care about the roleplaying aspect as much as the extra income, so most of my pets have the same job - the one that pays the most at the level that most of them are at. Not sure how that could be balanced among jobs, maybe more levels to go through on the less skilled ones?

Marine bilogist, environmental scientist, zoo keeper, zoo director for the minions, or a new spacecenter on atebus with the job astrophysicist
Great! How about medicontra, we can use more nurses, helpers, even doctors...anything related to medicine actually. Also what about Easther, who is boiling all them eggs? And who is collecting them? And what about Dkelly, who's taking care of all them pumpkins? Oh, my head is spinning... :D

Also, I wish pets could have a "main job" for income and a "side job", which will be the one that can be viewed in their profiles. Some people want to have different jobs for lore-reasons, but SAI is so good-paying that sometimes they simply cannot!

Thank you for this thread! I would love to see more healthcare oriented employment opportunities, please.
I know it's not directly related to the creation of new jobs or readjusting the income levels for the current jobs at the Job Agency, but I do have a possible quality of life addition: A "collect all" option where you can collect all your pets' incomes at once rather than having to go into each one individually. I've shortened the process a bit with the Notepad widget and making direct links, but I have issues not losing my place and repeating over lines multiple times when reading so it gets a bit frustrating.
I really look forward to seeing the jobs that everyone comes up with, and if I think of any, I'll be sure to hit up the forum. :) I'm glad to see the Job Agency get some love finally.
