And this is the one where I'll bow out. My main Battle Pet isn't strong enough to beat him. Next year, hopefully. It's definitely a goal. :)
I wish the 
had a function... maybe something like a powerful potion, a stat booster, a reusable weapon, a wearable, etc. It's a higher-tier challenger so it would have been nice to have the item be useful. But... at least we get an achievement for beating 10 times.
Well, that's it for me, I'm afraid. I'm still very proud of my pet, constant training and daily battle quests paid off.
Just discovered I already have the 10 win achievement, been so long I forgot. So guess I'll leave him to the rest of you unless the loot is new. Good luck to all.
Omg first time I’m able to beat this one and got ten wins. Not a battler, but still try to put my pet in training over these years and I’m so glad I did. 😊
Yesssss! I was able to beat him not once, but all 10 times this year! Slow and steady training worked out!
So happy I was able to get the achievement for the ten wins on this one! I probably will not be able to do the next ones.

And this is where I allow others to continue the fight. I'll work on taking out the smaller ones!
Ahh, that's where I have to drop out unfortunately. This was really fun! I wish that more of the seasonal event challengers would kinda work that way! Back to the Mini grind, I guess!
