Token Shop and Morostide Update
FOR THOSE WONDERING ABOUT MOROSTIDE
Morostide will be starting this month, of course, but here are a few things to keep in mind. These points are mostly vague on purpose. Specific details will be released when we start the holiday!:jack_o_lantern: There will be only one wave of trick or treat items. We will be bringing back old items, though!
:jack_o_lantern: You all will have to figure out the new way trick-or-treat items are distributed. ;) Generally, every few years, we like to switch the grouping of items up. Some of the methods in the past: number of pets a person has, taking your userid and doing module 6, month joined, number of letters in username, and I bet more I've forgotten!
:jack_o_lantern: Challengers will be returning! Get your battle pets ready. ;)
:jack_o_lantern: We will push the holiday past October 31 for max spooky vibes. We've started the holiday at various times of October, but unless an event issue/site was going down, the holiday would end on the 31st.
To reiterate: the above points are mostly vague on purpose. Specific details will be released when we start the holiday!

Mid October needs to be changed to late October! Is the extension because it’s starting late October?
I guess I don't really get why it has to be vague? Why not just mention the start date so people can prepare? Definitely regarding other time zones.

Lmao like a token shop item, even a brand new one, would stay at almost 50mil after several restocks of hundreds of them were released.
I just wonder why it has seemed to start late the last couple years. Just hope we have time to get whatever the new minion is and any rag dolls. Also looking forward to new skins. Surprised it didn't start last night.

@Castiel_Angel it was only just released so the price will fluctuate. a great way to avoid that is by buying items you need instead of buying to resell
Ugh great....I bought the lurby yesterday and it was going for 48 mil....today it's down to 8 mil....what a waste of tokens, this restock crashed the market for it...

Ten years to the day since Peril at the Patch's first news post, and a new vague post appears... I barely want to get my hopes up, but that is some interesting timing!
I'm excited I hope we get old challengers there's so many achievements I don't have BC I never used to battle, 😭
The old tot items really appeals to me as it means I can try and get the ones I'm missing for my Morostide Gallery @Amber. I am also happy that Morostide did not start today since I have a midterm tomorrow. Since it is running past the 31st of October I might attend my complex's Halloween Party as I was originally not going to attend due to Morostide occuring.

Those date goodies sound soooo yummy. Also yummy? Peanut butter date balls. A kind of Reece’s PB cup flavour with chopped dates mixed in, formed into balls and rolled in icing sugar. No bake, just refrigerate and the alternative is dipping them in melted chocolate and letting them cool. So good!!!

@Bunny20 - The shake's base is largely a milk/ice cream blend. You could probably do whatever substitutions you'd like in there too! I think an average size has maybe a half cup of dates added to it.

I hope you are going back as far as 2004 for old items. I really, really, really need those

@Amber you mix cream cheese and powdered sugar together, cut the date open (but not in half), pipe in or spoon in your cream cheese mixture, close up the date and then roll it in the sugar. Pop them in the fridge for a bit if you want to firm them up before eating. Of course you have to keep them refrigerated. You can also put in a smoked almond to really amp up the wonderfulness of them. My grandmother used to make them for Christmas or whenever she felt it was party time.

I saw the new item in the directory nearly half an hour ago, and continuously refreshed the news for ages. I wasn't going to be caught off guard THIS time!!!
Thanks for the information about Morostide. Having only one wave isn't much of a surprise since all the other holidays only have one wave now. And I don't have to worry about tere being a load of new items I need to get hen I haven't even gotten everything from the first wave yet. I don't know about the old items, since there's the Carnival, unless it's old Pumpkin Patch and Holiday Shop items and they'll go out through something other than TOT. And it's assuring to know it will last past the 31st, that's why I get so stressed about the late start times every year.

Also, the news post specifies that details are vague on purpose. What if the start date is so late this year because it has something to do with some kind of small plot?
