Things to do throughout the month for Luminaire
Melody Related✨ Visit Melody every day for a cool new item! Some nights Melody might just hand out an old book or two from previous years. :eyes:
✨ There are two achievements related to visiting Melody. For Lumineve Regular 2024, you must visit Melody 20 days in the first 25 days of December because the achievement will retire at the end of December 24. For Melody Regular 2024, you must visit Melody for a total of 25 days during Luminaire. The days do not need to be consecutive for either achievement.
🎄 Choose your 2024 tree and have fun decorating it. Add a little something extra by adding a background for your tree.
🎄 You can donate sP to Melody after visiting her cottage to receive an Old Box of Ornaments. Opening the box will give you a random selection of ornaments to decorate your tree with. You can mass add ornaments from your inventory to your ornament inventory here.
🎄 You can adjust your tree gift settings here to be 'everyone' 'friends only' or 'no one'. Tree's will 'open' on December 25, which is when you'll be able to access your gifts! Below is the sCode for adding your tree to your status, on the forums, and more.

❄️ Keep an eye out for the snow fairy minions, which you can give via random event. There’s an achievement, 'Fairy Catcher!', when you find one. You can release snow fairies from your inventory for the 'Free all the Fairies' achievement. There is also an achievement, 'Fairy Collector' for having one of each color snow fairy in your inventory.
❄️ The snowtapult will open once Winter starts on Subeta on December 21. More information about throwing snowballs will happen then!
❄️ You spread joy on the Luminaire Forums throughout Luminaire. The forums will be open until January 5 to finish up any last-minute business.
❄️ Luminaire ends at 11:59pm on December 31. Once we get closer to the end of the month, we'll have updates about New Years.
❄️ No information on Free Shop, so don't ask. 😡

Is there a way to tell how close to the amount for the fairy achievement?
Love the new items, but the excitement from getting my hands on older books so more of my pets can read them without going bankrupt is wonderful! Already got one I had missed altogether somehow. <3
Happy lumi.. unfortunatly I wont be getting any of the achievements this year nor all the daily lumi gifts as It's taken me ( after my old laptop crashed and having to set up a new laptop logging in i found that i could not get to the legacy page as per usual route, only just now found out how to get the legacy page back up, and hence how/where to find lumi and her gifts aka missed out on 6 days of lumi >_< ) Hope everyone is well <3
I don't play subeta like I used to but I always make sure to never miss the December event. I'm very disappointed over reusing old items, most people who read books have these read already. People have had enough time to add them to their collections, etc. Looking at the cute new holiday items everyday is something I always looked forward to and filled me with joy, I'm grateful for one new item but it doesn't feel the same this year.:-(
I have never felt the age of my account so acutely until now, my pet already has read these old books from Luminaire past. Maybe they have sprayed edges like all the new republications IRL, same book but with art on the spine!
Honestly disappointed that the gifts are recycling old items; so far they're ones I already have, and which aren't even that expensive to purchase. Melody's the one event of the year I look forward to, and it's feeling pretty anticlimactic at this point.
I wonder if it'd be possible to put a feature in for putting gifts under the trees like when you send a gift to someone, you can put in a monetary amount and it automatically selects a gift. It'd be even better if the item could be from their wish list if they have a wish list available.
I'm starting to think these Free Shop mentions are a way to blindside us and surprise us with free items when we least expect it. "Oh, Amber said no Free Shop questions with an angry face, so we won't be seeing the Free Shop for another two years." Then, BAM! It's in our faces, and we all rejoice and shower Amber with appreciation. I mean, it could happen. Happy Luminaire!

YES! Absolutely excited for Melody to give out old books!! Old food or other multi-use items would also be exciting for me! :D

Anyone have an idea how the heck to decorate a tree on a tablet? I can’t move items to the bottom because it pulls the whole screen down, which resets it…
Oh no I missed the gift for yesterday, I was online last night but I didn't want to collect the gift until it was actually December for me and then today I just got busy... :'(
Thank you and happy Luminaire to everyone! I forgot the time difference and missed the first day, oh well. As usual, I don't accept gifts because I get overwhelmed, but I still like to give random gifts, and I appreciate the thought =)

Happy luminarie.. For some reason my tree is invisible so I'ive decorated it in blindness taking a wild guess at where branches are ^^:;;
@Draken Doesn't seem to be working. Am I supposed to enter my username? I've tried that with various cases and it just shows the code in that widget and the link for myself in my friends list doesn't show anything. I've tried just leaving it as username as well.

Wonderful news! I've found it to be so strange that she doesn't give out consumables like books, food, plushie, beanbag, & expensive old clothes again. Like the stuff she's given out before from over a decade ago? Pepper them in a few days & hand them out for newer users! haha. Anyway, mentioning these again, as they still appear to exist & it's an excellent time of the year to bring them up~ ♥️

@Laeluxia I'm going to be giving out some old items through Melody this year + a new item. There might not be an old item every night, but def a lot of them! Usually old melody stuff goes out through the free shop but GONNA COOK UP SOME OTHER STUFF.

this is my first luminaire! 😁 is there any way of getting old melody items or can you only buy existing ones now? I wasn't sure if this was like other holidays that had a currency and shop. thank you!

Thanks for the updates! Is there an scode to add to the forums for gifting, or is there only the tree? The tree is a big bit for my signature lol
