@Amber do you think we might be able to get an extra day or two? Its been quite laggy/things not working quite how they should (people not progressing or losing their sp/strands) etc. Just a whole lot of lag/frustration. Just thought I'd ask if it might be possible to throw us an extra few days so no one is behind because of said issues. Pretty please? :) Ty for all you and the staff do! I appreciate you :)
So, I paid 1.5 mil for a virus 4 days ago and it still says I have to wait. If the virus doesn’t progress fully when the event ends what happens? I feel like this is a bit unfair.

So that's a yes on them being broken then? Waster half of survival on this and 125k. Sigh.
I bought one of the older virus strains (2017 - dissolving) last night and it's been over 16 hours now and I'm still stuck on "you have to wait".... 😞
Are there any problems? I have try the free Random one for 4 days now... First i did and i removed it and i try again and still nothing:(
Are the viruses broken? I got one of the new ones by paying, removed that and have tried twice to get one for free and it's just stuck on the 'you have to wait' option. I've just removed the second attempt of getting a free one (wasted 2-4 days in total, it's been a busy time for me so can't remember exactly how long) and have just tried spending 125k on one to see if that helps.
If it doesn't, will I be reimbursed because it's a bit rubbish if they're actually broken and people can't get given a virus at all, even when paying? I will keep my fingers crossed it works though. 😬

@Maple Is that the only thing the flowers are for? It's been so long I have no idea what they do other than placing them there for achievements?
@Amber Presumably the achievement for giving kisses (Kiss a User) was also supposed to gain a tier, but instead it lost all its tiers!
I wasn't around yesterday for the issues that were going on in the begining of picking viruses (I only know about the issue cause the news banner said it was fixed). Picked a virus for myself. It's not there. I'm not infected with anything. A whole day wasted, Gunner said I had it and just had to wait but I have nothing. Picked a virus again just now but who knows if I actually got it.

@Bliss, I think it was the skin I had on for bites, haha. Though the original issue I had seemed to be something different and was possibly because I was on mobile a few hours ago (essentially, the page didn't fully load/there was no white box behind the images/text, and only part of the full page was accessible). Ah well, at least being on PC and removing my recent Wardrobe changes cleared up the more recent issue. Happy biting!

@thercery Can you tell me what you see on the page? It should (and did for me) have the ability to choose a specific strain from this year, or a random one. That's why the banner says that it's fixed, because it appeared to be here / in the shoutbox / in the discord for other users.
If I just drink a vial from 2014 I should be infected with whichever strain was in the vial, correct?

Am I totally blind, or is the page for the VIP Infection program still totally broken/missinf the section (or missing the ability to click through to the section) where you sign up for specific strains? So much for delaying to "ensure this works". Every goddamn year guys, it's something.
I chose Moisturized at 2:10pm EST but still don't see anything 😞 Healer not showing anything and no Gummer note other than that I had chosen something. Hopefully it does let me get the right skin since I know we were having problems for a couple hours.
Whenever I'm a couple hours late to the start of this event, I'm a little disappointed that I missed out on time I could have used developing a strain. But then I always find out there was a bug at the beginning and I'm relieved I didn't get caught up in it (hopefully) lol. X'D Anyway, happy Survival everyone! I picked Focused... can't wait to see what all the strains look like!

I know nobody cares about site themes anymore, but I do. I so strongly wish we had a pink/survival/sweetheart theme and a zombie theme.

I agree it's frustrating for us all when holidays/features don't work as they should, but as always, staff is working on it and will surely have things fixed soon. Let's appreciate all they do for this community, especially during major events.

Wow, Amber made changing the year out to be very simple. I guess that explains all the lag. Sorry that you're having to deal with this, since you probably expected to be able to relax once it started.
I just don't like it when I see someone else with the same strain as me and they're already on the next stage while I'm not, so it's spoiled for me. That's why I want to get one of the new ones as soon as it's open and working again.

@Trees You're in the same boat as every other user, so there isn't "missing progression" here. We'll extend the holiday as needed, if needed.

Darn, the VIP came back but I STILL got one of last year's strains and had to spend another 1mil... Could you please temporarily make it free to clear it while you sort this out? I've already lost 3mil...
Any ETA on the fix? There's other things I'd like to do, but I want to be able to get one of the new strains as soon as they're available so I'm not too far behind in progression and am less likely to have the next stage spoiled for me before I reach it.
I got last year's, and I hope it will be removed so I can start over without paying. Thank you, in advance.

This was my fault - when I had Keith clear some things last night I hadn't updated the year to now. I believe that's the problem here. I've passed it on to him and taken Gunner down for now!
So much for making sure nothing went wrong... There always has to be something, doesn't there. It's like this holiday is cursed.
I give up at this point. I went for random and got one of last year's strains I didn't already have and that'll have to do for now.
So do I just have to keep paying 1 mil to remove last years viruses at the instant infect because they dont give this year's 😢
