Food or Drink?
The site has all three of these filed under food, along with about 11,000 other items, and it has never known which ones you'd drink.
So there's a new page in Help: Food or Drink?. It shows you one item at a time and you click what it is: food, dessert, drink, wearable (there are boleros in the foods, of course), or other. For a drink you also say whether it looks like it has alcohol in it. One click sorts it and brings up the next one.
Each item pays 1,000 sP, up to 100 a day, and each item pops up once per person. When a couple of people agree on an item it's settled, and the settled drinks are the list that we'll pull from around the site.

@DreamsInPink Nope! It'll still be wearable, this is just being used to sort items for quest givers as items they ask fro and prizes, not removing anything from the site :)
Wait, so if an item is wearable AND edible and 3 people choose edible, does that make it not wearable anymore? 😕
I've accidently hit the wrong button a couple times D: ... as a result I suggest when ten people agree it's sorted, personally.
I guess that makes sense.
Also just from what I've seen so far after the 1st hundred or so items, there are A LOT of desserts lol. That's probably the button I've used the most.

What I'd suggest is to use the item description and image - if it's a hair clip, that's a wearable. if it's a bun that looks edible, make it food. But again, this is relaly about how the whole userbase sees it so I am trying not to implement too many rules!
Yeah I'm also curious about the wearable category too, because many items are clearly food but also have wearable overlays that are completely unrelated, so it's a bit confusing.
These food or wearable choices.... just what? If you've got an item where the preview is a bucket of popcorn and the HA shows it as 3D glasses and the the description is of edible popcorn.... how are we supposed to choose? Clearly it's both, or two different items in one. How are you guys choosing, do you just pick your favorite, or... ? Please share!
So I have a question because of the achievement: when you say an item becomes "settled" does that mean it won't show up in the queue for sorting anymore? Or will they still show up for everyone for you to get to eventually?
PS: It will be funny the day you ask us to classify all those BY FLAVOUR

Would it be possible to add a "review" feature once every 20 items or so? I think I missed one wearable and accidently sorted a couple of desserts into food. =/
Omg I love sorting things like this, it's so fun! altho I keep going too fast and I've done a couple of accidental misclicks. Super embarrassing.
I share Soren's feelings wrt the zombie items! (and lowkey I also really hope that we get to someday sort food into like... 'gross food' vs normal food, because sometimes Pete or someone will ask for gross food items or give it as a reward and it just.. always feels so awkward?? love getting poop ice cream as a quest reward,,,)

I'm so torn on how to classify some of these. I feel weird saying 
is a living creature when it clearly isn't anymore lol. 
could be anything. I love sorting things but I just think too literally for this to be as relaxing as I thought it would be.
Classification and organizating is my passion, I'm pumped!!!

@StarShadow Permanent - as long as we add new food / drink items :) I'm hoping to make a series of "classifier" asks like this, that help us label items across the site to do more specific things. For example, I'm going to use the "drinks (alcoholic)" list from this to rebuild the Carl quests, and it'll make the requests a lot more broad and inclusive of items that are typically asked for.

Unfortunately the "Living creature" bit wasn't yet coded when I accidentally input a couple of them in other categories, I hope there's not much of an issue in that, oops! 😅
for items where it is also a wearable but the item image is an edible food, it would still count as a food right? or is wearable where every also-wearable item goes?
