I think how it works is they pick a potion and then pick someone who chose that potion... so if you picked reborn, then someone else would have won a lilac one.
What Fred means, is if you had chosen Reborn.. you wouldn't go gotten the Lilac, because.. well, it's kind of obvious.
Funny thing is I requested the Reborn Potion, and I got Lilac. MAybe I choose Lilac by mistake oh well
