heh, finally, a trivia I'm certain of the answer on, and all we get is a banana on a stick. Meh.<br />

I have to agree that the past few have been...way too vague. And the alt text thing was just unfair. You could have at least given us some sort of warning, like we needed to be using a browser that supports ALT text.<br />

OK, I use Safari, I don't even have another browser on my comp... when I click on the galaxy wasteland thing, I don't get anything about properties... I would have to through the very lengthy page source to find that...
It says "where specifically", which implies a specific place or location, nowhere does it say "on which page".

Lamia, I'm sure that half of the people who won aren't even online right now. Once they log in and a ton more of the prize get thrown into the trades the price will come down. By tonight I'm sure the price will be much lower than it currently is.

800 so they shouldn't be too expensive?? That's a laugh. if you look through the trading post you'll see that nobody really cares how common an item is. Everybody seems to be full up of greed lately. Again, though, it's not something that would be obvious per the way the text of the trivia was written. :/ That's what's bugging me, more than anything--going to "properties" or "page source" is not my first response if the trivia is worded such to imply it's out in plain sight, like the answer for the Gift Center one was.

<b>LadyKai</b>, right click on the Galaxan Wastelands then select properties. At the ver bottom it says "Alternate text: <img src=/images/smilies/smiley_xface.gif border=0>"
No, you can't only see it by hovering in IE. You can also right click around the image and look at "Properties" in firefox, which is how I found it--just a little less easy. <img src=/images/smilies/6398_emoticon_raspberry.gif border=0>

Oh, no, come on, that is not fair. The page that "<img src=/images/smilies/smiley_xface.gif border=0>" shows up on---the page you can <i>find it on</i> is Atebus, not the Galaxan Wastelands page. There is no Galaxan Wastelands page, so logically that shouldn't be the answer.

Okay goes to try.. When I right-click on the Wastelands, all I get is an option window.. I do not see a '<img src=/images/smilies/smiley_xface.gif border=0>'... I do not mean to be whiney.. but I just do not see this particular question as being fair straight across the board. I was having a hard time finding the answer (obviously) and instead of hunting for these clues that were apparently posted throughout the site by users, I kept searching on my own (like you're supposed to do) only for the trivia to be ended early and the prize to be reduced greatly in value because on some nincompoops.<br />

It was FINDABLE, but it wasn't somewhere a lot of people using FF would look, because the way the trivia was written implied it'd be out there on the page itself. IF there had been something to the effect of "hint: it may not be in plain sight", then I'd think it was fine and wouldn't be so upset that I hadn't found it.

Yes, the hover only works in IE but we've had other Trivias exactly the same as this and in Firefox you only have to right click properties, so it was findable using Firefox as well.
purrs Well my system doesn't even have IE, so I don't have the option. And since discussing ideas and whatnot is against the rules (which I totally agree with, by the way)... I just do not see how this trivia was fair to all users. still steaming a smidgen
Thanks to people posting clues everywhere there were almost 800 won (the most of anything won for Trivia in a very long time), so they shouldn't be horrendously expensive.
Usually I wouldn't whine about this, but if the hover-text only works in one browser, I can see why people were cheating on that last one. X( That's...ngh. Not fair for the wrong reasons.

Again, I apologise for my complaint; I'm very happy that I was eventually able to get it by using a different computer. But I can't help but feel it's unfair.<br />
